We tried a bunch of gelato shops during a recent trip to Rome - a game to find the best gelato in town.
Unfortunately, we waited to stop by Giolitti until the last night and that was a mistake as we would have been coming...More
The worst place to eat an ice cream In the world. we sat for 10 Minutes and called many times, servers just looked at us and didn’t come. In addition, prices are expensive to eat inside. We left without anything. Go somewhere else.
Here, the icecream comes with a long story. You can either pay first and then join the queue to select your icecream to go, or sit down and wait to be served. A bit hectic to queue, so a sit down might be preferable. But...More

Giolitti has one of the best icecreams in Rome! For the smallest portion (2 flavors) you pay 3.20€ which is in my opinion enough and still a reasonable price! The queue wasn’t too long. Definitely worth a visit!
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
