Great bar, and wonderfull Ice-cream and cake selection. A must visit place for all sweet tooth's out there. This is also one of Rome's oldest bars, and is always full of people

Delicious gelato at a very decent price and good location. The only reason I haven't given this a five, which not everyone will agree with, is for me, there were too many chocolatey flavours that seemed very similar.

We were looking for a place where we could enjoy the gelatino and also sit in. Giolitti was well recommended on TripAdvisor so we decided to check it out. The inside was almost empty and devoid of atmosphere. However, the gelatino was excellent and we happily continued to stroll towards the Pantheon. In a busier season I can imagine their... More

Great gelato that's packed with rich flavor and creamy smooth. Caution, choose the Nutella flavor only if you a REAL fan of it. It's almost like a thick version of it rather than "Nutella-flavored."

The historic gellateria in Rome gives justice to her reputation. A wide variety of ice cream, we visited several times during our stay so we can taste different ice creams.

Nice ice-creams, sandwiches, apéritif and café at the bar. Italian atmosphere of the 70 S , it s like playing in an Italian movie, while enjoying food , cafe , anything.

As above, went one day and had to go back the second!! Make sure you get a ticket from the front of the shop before you queue up for the ice cream or else they send you back!!

Went here a few times as our hotel was right around the corner. It's a quick walk from the Pantheon as well. Wonderful gelato! You won't be disappointed.

We were here twice during our one week stay in Rome and found the ice cream delicious. Served in chocolate covered cones each ice cream (we chose 3 flavours) was almost a meal in itself.

We decided to have an ice cream here on recommendation and it IS very good . We paid more to ease our aching feet and sit in the seating area. Be aware you can't eat your cone here, you have to order a glass of icecream. It's quite reasonabe though..3 flavours plus cream came to about 7€

Thank fwendlee

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
