The Campo dei fiori changes atmosphere in the evening ... And the Taba Café has something to do with it. In this magnificent bar, you can taste your prosecco and your "salumi e formaggi" board to the sound of an always sought-after playlist. But the...Taba Café is above all a fast and competent team at your service. A nod to Mamun and his warm welcome. We will come back !More
They'll always be a decent amount of custom here because they've got Sofas looking out over the square.
They had signs up when we came past with 'happy hour' two for one. The owner approached us and explained it was two for one during happy...hour. And offered us a deal with some light food.
When we got the bill, they'd only put two for one on the first round. And charged €8 a drink for a spritz.
I don't mind paying a premium for something if its worth it and it's honest, I really don't like being mislead.
No where on the sign or in their sales patter did they say 2-4-1 was a limited thing and happy hour normally means, it's for an hour or a period of time.
On top of that, the service was really poor, getting their attention whilst they gossiped or tried to find new tourists to rip off was hard work.we had to go to the bar several times to order. Yet they put service on the bill, which we refused to pay.
Would not go here again.More
We had breakfast here and went back for coffee and tiramisu!!! Fun place overlooking the daily market. Hive of activity even amidst the corona virus. Breakfast was great. Freshly squeezed blood orange juice, omelette, cheese and ham. Cappachino-yum!!
Me and partner came to this place for 2 out of our 3 nights in Rome, for a nice place to drink with a good atmosphere and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were very good particularly Mamun who was very friendly to us. Also in a...good location with lots of other places around.More
