We came to this establishment for a small breakfast on our final day in Rome and immediately were amazed by the extortionate prices, notably, a small bowl of eggs and bacon for €16 and eggs benedict for €22! Despite this we ordered a panini and...the eggs and bacon. The panini did deliver and was a good value for the size and taste. However, the eggs and bacon didn’t. It came with a pair of small pancakes which seemed fair given the price. These pancakes, as seen from the photos I have attached below were undercooked. You may be asking yourself how can pancakes be undercooked. Well, the interior still possessed some of the wet mixture which can normally be expected to solidify into a spongey texture in regular pancake and so was not a favourable suprise biting into it and finding that out. However, the waitress, albeit not apologising for this unfortunate occurrence, did bring us two more pancakes that did possess the spongey feel rather than wet. Overall, this experience was not one that I will look back on fondly due to the overpriced and undercooked food, and the dismissive behaviour of our waitress.More

What a gem of a place! We were recommended to go and eat here by some friends and so thankful for that! This place is a really authentic gem of a place. The staff are amazing, the food is brilliant and it’s generally bang on...point. Highly recommend you go, it’s a little bit out of the way but worth it. Thank you to all the staff who made it a special night.More

We visited quite a few restaurants during our stay and thought we'd like to give this one a go. However, the food and drinks were overpriced and a little under whelming. A bottle of standard beer was 8euros, a glass of ordinary Syrah the same...but only a 125mls measure I suspect. My stir fry was very oily. My son's food he reported as average. All too expensive for what we received, the waitress seemed to look down her nose at us for some unfathomable reason and no one asked how our meal was. She could not have cared less. This was our worst eating out experience during our week long stay in Rome and is better suited as a bar which most seemed to use it for.More

Great food, generous portions, attentive and courteous service, and a wonderful atmosphere. A great little find just around the corner from the Spanish Steps.

Meant to go back at other times but kept rocking up for Apertivos. Friendly staff, excellent cocktail list, good house Franciacorta and interesting munchies - inc the best ever home made crisps.

Great place, nice staff ed excellent coffee! This bar/restaurant reminds of French bistrots; every detail is accurate. I've been here for breakfast but I'm pretty sure lunch is great too. Super!

We were looking for a restaurant in the area and found that this place was very busy and decided to go in. We had very nice cocktails and appetizers/ antipastis. We really enjoyed the food that suited myself (I am vegetarian) and my huband (burger)....Recommend this place in the centre of Rome. No need to book I think but you mau wait at the bar to get a table.More

I went for breakfast with my son and ordered the american breakfast (16€/pp). First of all was the hospitality poor. The orangejuice was not fresh but just from a can/bottle, the coffee was not warm enough. The eggs & toast were ok, and the 2...pancakes had the size of dutch “poffertjes” (+\- 2cm). When paying the bill I had the feeling the cashier was working against her will. I had the day before a much better breakfast in the area for half of the price. I know where to go tomorrow...More

Great staff, food worth the walk through the downpour and great cocktails at medium range prices! Totally worth eating here!

We went here as a family of four, we only had a sharing board cheese and ham, very small (€20) and couple of glasses of wine so can’t comment to much on food. Everyone else’s dishes looked good! Service was efficient. €9 for a small...glass of Chardonnay (which was very tasty) I think it’s fair to say it’s an overall decent place in the heart of the shopping area near the Spanish steps but I little overpriced.More
