stumbled upon this place because the other one we actually had wanted to go to was closed. Since it looked nice, we gave it a try - but Scomodo did not convince. Staff barely speaks any English, was a little bit slow and charged one...€ more for a beer than it said on the menu (which was refunded after we complained). The three beers were ok, not much more though, same goes for the tiramisu. The dishes have a cute second hand/vintage touch.More

I cannot really explain how much I love this place. It's a mix of atmosphere created by the design and the music you can find inside and the real deep quality and taste of the food. This is not simply a fashionable place to take...your friends but an elegant, cozy restaurant where every dish will surprise you because of its incredible taste and the purity of its ingredient. It's like a magic formula. It's stylish like Roma Nord but deeply tasty like the best Roma Sud. I cannot get enough!More

I saw the add of this restaurant on Facebook, the name *Scomodo* uncomfortable seduced us ! we decided to give it a try... To reach this restaurant you have to take the yellow train from Termini Laziale or Bus 105 (one way/direction only) and walk...couple of minutes.... the return by last train is at 22:30 !!! was very *scomodo* to go back as there are no busses stops or track at all to go back to termini as its only a one way from Termini!! The table & chairs are comfy, spacious, nice music, they have an old radio on the corner.... friendly waitress and an excellent cook!! Giulio is the name if I'm not mistaken. The menu is only in italian, we have ordered our plates.. salad with cheese and pasta with rice and dolce.. The portions are less than expected for that high rate ,plates are highly decorated and the most thing very delicious .More

I liked the minimalist ambience, it's done really beautifully inside. Very trendy. And the fact that the tram passes right outside the window was actually really cool, I thought! I had a margarita, the chicken nuggets (fancier than it sounds) for an appetizer and a...cheeseburger. The food was good, I enjoyed both dishes. The cheeseburger was very simple (there was no info on the menu and I was trying to figure out why it cost 13 euro, so I asked... the waiter said "it's got lettuce and tomato and mayonnaise!") Still, the bun and meat were good. Overpriced. The margarita unfortunately was not good, but it's almost impossible to find a good margarita in Rome so I can't blame them. We booked with The Fork. I appreciated that the waiter told us before we ordered that drinks were not included in the discount, but that was still a bit disappointing. He said they were trying to work it out with The Fork to have correct advertising.More

This place is about a ten minute walk from where we were staying but when we were walking towards it we considered turning back - it's right next to the tram tracks just off a dirt path - as we thought it may not turn...out to be any good. Luckily it was great; the decor is trendy and the staff are nice. There isn't a massive selection of food but it all looks good and is a good place to come as a vegan as they have a seitan burger! There is, however, a massive selection of cocktails. This place doesn't look great from the outside but it's worth making the journey to.More

A birthday in Rome is special as an Australian as it is. When you find yourself at Scomodo for dinner it's even better! The staff are simply fantastic! The meals are great, try the fancy chicken roast! Where it is located suits it's Italian name...perfectly but don't be let position turn you off? Oh, beware the bartender! Some say he may be a vampire...I say he is a magician!!More
