We just fell into a trap. We finished a nice meal at a restaurant near by and passed by this gelato. We decided to stop and get a cup. The guy at the shop was friendly and had us try a few flavors. Then he...More

We stopped by Il Gelato di San Crispino after visiting the Trevi Fountain. Very small place but service was good. I wish there was a larger selection but had the core flavors and quality is very good.

Always fresh and delicious. Ask the server for flavor combination recommendations! Enjoyed the basil flavor especially.

Grapefruit gelato to die for. So subtle yet flavorful. As I understand it, San Crispino is one of the top gelaterias in Rome, with all natural ingredients. Excellent fruit flavors. Not the cheapest we had but worth the little bit of extra.

Il Gelato has a good selection of flavors and is authentically prepared and stored. Definitely a step up from the other gelato options right around the Trevi and would recommend.

Il gelato is really normal, it's no so different from regular ice cream. Besides, the attention is not so good and it looks that they are too confident in their reputation.

We had the blackberry gelato and it was beautiful. You can’t go wrong here and as a mum if two not have a come option is the best. Everyone knows that kids make the biggest mess with ice cream in a cone!

This gelateria was recommended to me and strangely enough has won lots of prizes. But I was very disappointed. Rude service, the interior wasn't very appealing and the prices too high for only 1 flavour. Because it was only one flavour I chose chocolate (I...More

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is
all about action. From early morning through the wee

never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or
take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming
gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of
hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle
are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you
