Stopped by here on our way to the Spanish Steps. I had the hazelnut and honey gelato. Both were absolutely delicious especially the honey flavour since i have not had that flavour anywhere else.

It was recommended by a credible friend and I searched for it. I dint choose multiple flavours, but cocoa with rum was excellent! I'm a fan of this specific flavour and it was one of the best I've eaten. The only minus of the place is that ice cream is covered and you can't choose by the look. :-)

Don't waist your time trying ice creams from somewhere else. It was a hard time trying to make me leave the place...

This was absolutely delicious. I had hazelnut, straciatella and yogurt flavours. Absolutely yummy. Portion not very generous though. Staff was also a bit strange, not the most welcoming. But eh was there for the gelato and it was super yummy so I was happy regardless.

It was highly recommended by a local but it was not my cup of tea. I suppose it's a matter of personal preference but I much prefer Grom, which was much creamier.

We were warned on a food tour to beware of all of the fake gelato places. You'll find that most places that serve fluffy, bright gelato make their gelato from a powdered mix. Not so at San Crispino. You can tell that it's fresh gelato by the careful way they store the gelato. Yes, it's more expensive, but it is... More

We pride ourselves on tasting as much gelato as we can while in Rome. This was a new one on our list and rose to the top immediately! Try the pink grapefruit gelato or any other flavor and you will not be disappointed!

Excellent gelato but all the gelato is in stainless steel containers with lids. I tried the pistachio and must say it was one of the best I had while in Rome. You only get one flavor for a small size and they do not overfill the cup--it is leveled to the top of the cup. I visited this gelateria twice... More

San Crispino is known for great ice cream and for good reason. The choices are plenty and the ice cream is great. It is ridiculously expensive for tiny amounts but this is Rome after all.

Neighborhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
