We just fell into a trap.
We finished a nice meal at a restaurant near by and passed by this gelato. We decided to stop and get a cup.

Grapefruit gelato to die for. So subtle yet flavorful. As I understand it, San Crispino is one of the top gelaterias in Rome, with all natural ingredients. Excellent fruit flavors. Not the cheapest we had but worth the little bit of extra.
This was my first visit to Rome. The friend who showed me around talked about this ice cream shop whilst we were in the UK. She said it was an absolute must when I visited Rome. I was not disappointed. The ice cream choices were...More
We had the blackberry gelato and it was beautiful. You can’t go wrong here and as a mum if two not have a come option is the best. Everyone knows that kids make the biggest mess with ice cream in a cone!

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you
can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
