People! You don't understand how much I and we enjoyed this dinner! These pork sausages, huge pieces of meat- steaks grilled as I/we wanted , this dessert, just go crazy!A the wine - nectar of the gods.

OMG! The Bull Steak Grille is awesome. Service was fast, the steak was perfectly cooked & the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I recommend Bull Steak Grille for your dining pleasure. I'm going back again before I leave Italy.

We went for dinner last night. The staff, service and meal was excellent. We had capris, fried mix and flatbread as appetizers. We each had the angus steak for main course. The fried potatoes my friend had were really good, but the baked potato that I had was yellowed and old, the meal was so fantastic I don’t care about the baked potato. I’m so happy we ate here and the price was very low for the cut of meat we had.

Went here for food one night during a recent city break. My boyfriend is a big meat eater so the idea of selecting your own fresh meat and weight of it appealed to him immediately.
He had a T-bone steak which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had grilled chicken which was very nice (they were unfortunately out of stock on the meal that I wanted - chicken shawarma). We had a tearing bread to share which was lovely.
I had the house wine (white) which was nice. Would have been nice to have had a choice of spirits but they didn’t supply them.
Staff were friendly and one waiter chased us down the street after we had left as my boyfriend had left his umbrella in there which was really kind.
Would recommend for a nice quaint meal (especially if you are big into your meat!) Also great location - not far to walk to from the train station.

Great little steakhouse about 1.5 miles south of the Colosseum. Very popular with the locals. The staff were so warm and friendly and enjoyed flexing their English skills with us Brits! You pick your fresh cut of meat at the butcher counter with the butcher and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Approx 6-7 euros per 100g. Great wine and sides too! Would recommend if you enjoy eating at places that aren’t touristy.

Horrible meal, whoever is cooking their steaks should never be allowed to cook Steak. My ribeye came out rare instead of medium rare, with no seasoning (Salt) on the steak, even after asking for it and for extra directly at the butcher when picking out our cuts. They use a flat top to cook the steaks with weights, also if you order a filet ( as my other half did) it will be butterflied no matter what thickness. I can’t understand for the life of me why this place has so many good reviews. Staff was very nice even with all of the screw ups. But overall horrible experience.

Went to Rome for holidays and we came across this restaurant. Service was excellent, waiters were very friendly and polite. We had 4 steaks total of 1.5kg, one beer, 2 bottles of water, 3 french fries and one salad and we paid only 97 euros!! The meat was great quality and the cooking was excellent. Totally recommend it to anyone who wants high quality steak with good prices.

I am compelled to write my feedback on this restaurant, as my experience was completely different than previous visitors and reviews. First of all I found the service inadequate. When you charge €90 for a little over a kilo off piece of meat full of fat, you should have enough salt and pepper shakers for each table and better knives to cut the meat and continue cooking it on the table. We’ve also ordered mixed greens salad, which came completely dry without a drop off, addressing. When we requested olive oil, they brought it to us and within minutes they asked us if they could take it away it give it to another table. Overall, the quality of the meal did not match the price, charged or the experience of dining in that restaurant. We will definitely not be returning.

I visited The Bull to try a Bistecca Fiorentina. In this lovely restaurant, the service is friendly, the prices fair and you get to see and choose your own meat with the butcher. The wine list appears quite extensive, stretching from cheap wines up to quite exclusive bottles. There are also several options in half bottle or by the glass. I particularly enjoyed seeing the butcher cut my own steak after I had chosen which cut I wanted. It was cooked beautifully (though I chose to add extra salt) and served on a sizzling hot cast iron plate to allow a hot meal for the entire time it takes to eat a large steak. I chose a side of lovely fresh tomatoes and used bread to soak up the meat juices. The waiters and the butcher all spoke english but at the time I was the only non-italian guest, which is both a good sign of quality and a nice experience. I highly recommend The Bull and I am likely to return whenever next I visit.

Slow start as we arrived before they opened. But once seated, things went very well. We were specifically looking for steak and we found it! We picked out which exact cut of beef and how many grams from the butcher. All sides are large (family style) and that isn’t clear on the menu. Staff is engaging and friendly and worked to make us happy. Wine list is very reasonable and has a great variety. Only 2 beers on tap. Pleasantly surprised that the discount by booking through Fork was applied without even reminding them. Excellent meal. Very much enjoyed our time here!

lovely restaurant just a 5min walk from the metro, the staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good english
the food was very good, i had the mixed grill kebabs and all the meats were flavourful and cooked very well. we also good a steak which u can pick yourself from the butcher counter which was a fun experience and the steak tasted very good.
we finished with chocolate soufflé for dessert which was also very good.
overall the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and we felt very welcomed,
would come again

Not sure what all the fuss is about. While the staff was very nice the food was mediocre at best. The fried aubergine balls were overcooked, tasteless and aren't served with any sauce (would have helped). 2/4 of the steaks we had were actually quite tough. Note also that the steak is cooked without any seasoning at all - no salt/pepper, nothing. No Caprese salad available as they were out of fresh mozzarella (we were there at 730). Green beans way overcooked and if you order arugula as a side be prepared to be served a big bowl of plain arugula. No oil/vinegar, nothing - just a bowl of plain arugula. I wouldn't go back here nor can I recommend it to anyone.

Had a wonderful birthday meal at Bull steak . Would recommend a visit if you are in Rome. Drinks were a good price and the meal was outstanding.
I chose to order from the butcher and ended up having the T bone steak and my partner had a marbled steak. The total bull came up to ÂŁ140 euros which we knew from reading prior reviews it would.

This is a local neighborhood restaurant with one of the most spectacular in-house butchers and cooks you will have ever experienced. The cuts of meat are all from mature cows not speed breed cattle like in the US. If you like restaurants in the states like porterhouse in NYC, Chicago Chop in IL, three forks in Dallas, Capital Grill, Etc, but you dont need the same white linen dining, this is your spot. Steak selections from the best ranches throughout Europe and of course Italy.
Their Pasta is also some of the best in Italy. I would consider adding Italy to my next Europe trip just to go back here. English is spoken by most of the staff who is friendly and helpful to help you navigate the selection as well as the wine list. Very reasonable prices.

For the first time in my life iv had to walk out of a restaurant. This is the WORST eatery iv ever eaten in. The steak was dripping in grease and the majority of the meat was pure fat. Asked for medium and came blue. Asked if it could be cooked more and it came back a few short minutes later still bleu but more charred on the outside. When asking what steak sauces they had we were offered ketchup or mayo. Maybe this is how Italian steak houses are. But if your British or American then AVOID!!!!!
