This place was just down the road from where we were staying. We thought it was a fair price and the food was OK. We had the set meal x2, a pizza and a sausage meal. The waiter was friendly and the location was very convenient.

Luckily this was not our first meal in Rome, had it been we would have been worried for the rest of our holiday. I can even describe the food as mediocre, it was of a poor standard, a small portion and quite unimaginative. Add to that the price point and hey presto, a big disappointment awaits.

As we were tired of our flight and to support our neighbour, we had chosen a table at this restaurant. Tip: better walk 50 m further, even though you're tired. You will probably be served bigger portions and by a friendly waiter. We had to explain the principles of giving back change to ours. We were charged for bread we... More

Terrible food, wait staff rude. We stopped for something to eat on the way to Trevi fountain. The waiter immediately started telling us what we shoul eat. We went with his choice of a selection of meats which seemed to be hams out of a packet from the supermarket. The waiter snatched away our plates before we had finished the... More

We got treated horribly. The waitor was so rude, ended up screaming at us that we were stupid cause we asked for some more food. We only did this because it was the smallest portion we ever seen. We ate the recommended dishes, wich tasted plane and boring.

We went this afternoon as a family of five for a light lunch (pasta, pizza and soft drinks). The venue and food were unexeptional but the disdain with which we were treated absolutely exquisite, to the point of being farcical. Monty Python pales into oblivion compared to the experience. The format of the bill also was a joke (photo attached).... More

Don't go there. It is a waste of money. Bad wine, dessert seemed to be frozen food, service unfriendly.

Food was average, nothing special at all. Wait staff were a little arrogant and just looked at me and suggested the lasagne AFTER I had already asked for the truffle pasta. He said "have you had truffle before? Maybe you won't like it." I proceeded to say, "yes I've had truffle and I do really like it". So he says... More

Our first stop in Rome it was directly across from our hotel. Service excellent food very good. The waiter, Was helpful and very attentive. My caci e Pepe was excellent and my granddaughter's carbonara was also very good. Best cannoli we've had and a ricotta and almonds that was super. We went back again for dessert the next night.

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
