We went this afternoon as a family of five for a light lunch (pasta, pizza and soft drinks). The venue and food were unexeptional but the disdain with which we were treated absolutely exquisite, to the point of being farcical. Monty Python pales into oblivion compared to the experience. The format of the bill also was a joke (photo attached).... More

Don't go there. It is a waste of money. Bad wine, dessert seemed to be frozen food, service unfriendly.

Food was average, nothing special at all. Wait staff were a little arrogant and just looked at me and suggested the lasagne AFTER I had already asked for the truffle pasta. He said "have you had truffle before? Maybe you won't like it." I proceeded to say, "yes I've had truffle and I do really like it". So he says... More

Our first stop in Rome it was directly across from our hotel. Service excellent food very good. The waiter, Was helpful and very attentive. My caci e Pepe was excellent and my granddaughter's carbonara was also very good. Best cannoli we've had and a ricotta and almonds that was super. We went back again for dessert the next night.

Food was average. Waiting staff were possibly the most arrogant bunch of underachievers I have ever came across. They were rude to the point of hilarity, which in fairness made for some entertainment. If ever anyone needed a big hug it was these guys!!!

Not far from the Triton Fountain, the Quattro Fontane, Barberini Palace, we were lucky to find Albrecht (restaurant on Via Rasella that started in 1868) that opened at 6 PM. Wonderful dinner with Giuseppe giving us good recommendations. Large steak for my husband (cooked just right with great taste), fries, 2 German type beers while I had house made long pasta... More

Servers not interested in having us dine with them - dinner started at 7.30 and when we arrived at 8.30 they told us "specials were all gone". Specials offered were Spaghetti......

This restaurant was right down the street from our hotel and we were tired from jet lag and a day of sightseeing. The food was certainly mediocre, the interior space was dim and rather cafeteria-like and the wait staff was remote and not all that helpful. And, we were charged for bread, which they never even brought.

It was a lunchtime visit....but we think the waitress was on a bad day.....lol...White served instead of red wine, and at the end we got the bill for another table. Which was apologised for by the manager. House wine very nice. Salami pizza excellent. Half ltr wine, shared pizza. Large Bottle of sparkling water €22

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
