We were visiting Pantheon and it was time for lunch so we looked in our trusty "The Little Black Book of Rome" (no Wi-Fi for TripAdvisor reviews...) and found "Casa Bleve," called the superstar of wine bars, also good for light lunches. The entry door shows very little of what comes when you actually enter the main dining area: It... More

After visiting Rome about 10 times in the last almost 20 years, my wife and I decided try Casa Bleve based on its great location near Piazza Navona and its excellent TripAdvisor reviews. Thank you, TripAdvisor, for telling us about Casa Bleve; there are so very many restaurants in Rome that we never would have found it otherwise. We’d reviewed... More

This is a very nice restaurant with very good Italian cooking. You will pay a little more but the atmosphere and service make it well worth it. Plus it is hidden from the crowds so you will feel like you have escaped and there are suddenly no people about to step on you anymore, no traffic and no selfie shooters.... More

Above all the staff are impeccable. Attentive when needed otherwise they leave you to enjoy your meal and will gladdly help with choices and recommendations if asked. The food is just what you'd expect from this restaurant that is a an obvious cut above.

I visited Casa Bleve recently for the first time despite being a roman ( living abroad at the moment). It was such a pleasant surprise the quality the variety and the presentation of the food is superb. The ambiance very nice. Service impeccable. Super interesting visit at the cellar downstairs where you can see the rest of an ancient Ronan... More

A great meal. In the converted halls of a roman palazzo, the high arches give the restaurant an elegant feel. The service was impeccable and wine list extensive. Food was well prepared and presented and in good portions. Had a lovely seafood spaghetti to start and beef tartare for mains. Pistachio semifreddo for dessert. Good list of gluten free items... We came here for our Christmas Eve meal and it did not disappoint. It's a very large and beautiful restaurant with a beautiful stained glass ceiling. Our server Rocco was very sweet. When I showed him a favorite wine of mine that they had on their list, he pointed out another one by the same maker but using a different... More

First time here. Entry appears small and cramped but inside is wonderful. Can go casual or dressed, service is friendly, menu is varied, and food and portions very good to excellent. Prices given the space and food were very reasonable bordering on the cheap side. If I come back to Rome would definitely eat here again.

Visited Rome for Christmas with my partner, and booked at Casa Bleve for Christmas Day Lunch on the basis of previous Trip Advisor reviews. It was an incredible meal in an absolutely stunning dining room. As soon as we walked in we knew we had chosen the right place - it was spacious yet cosy, had a vibrant atmosphere and... More

Having read the great reviews we decided this was the place to book for our Christmas Day meal in Rome. I was told when booking that there would be a specials menu as well as the a la carte, but this wasn't the case. Only one waiter understood English, considering this was an upper class restaurant you would expect most... More
