Ok so perhaps we chose the wrong things on the menu or our English taste preferences are different to the Italians. However, I've eaten pizza in a range of other countries around the world and the pizza at Taverna Rossini was just average. The beer was weak and there was hardly any to choose from. The service was shocking. The... More

Our family visited Rome in June and ate three meals at Taverna Rossini. The staff was wonderful and the food was authentic and delicious. We loved the outdoor dining and would love to go back! Highly recommend.

Amazing service. The bruschetta we had was delicious and the pizza and pastas we share were to die for. We will be visiting again before we leave. Conveniently close to the Borghese Gardens.

At the recommendation of the HGI staff, just around the corner is the Tarverna Rossini. This was a truly wonderful experience. We ate inside as the weather was a little warm but there is a nice outside seating area. One of the things we really enjoyed was the smaller bottles of wine. We had the 'Casio Del Giglio' Shiraz and... More

We chose this restaurant which was close to the apartment we stayed at. We wanted a more upscale dinner and chose Taverna Rossini. We got to sit on the terrasse. The atmosphere was great. Many locals. The food was good, although we thought the plates where rather small. But quality of ingredients ans taste where good. Service was good as... More

We dined at Taverna Rossini, an attractive neighborhood restaurant. Overall, the food was excellent- attractively played and tasteful. My appetizer, a flan with artichokes and ham, I planned on sharing when the waiter told me it was not enough for two. The waiter suggested mozzarella for my 12 year old grandson. The flan was an ample serving which would have... More

We found this restaurant around the corner from the Hilton Garden Inn Claridge from Yelp. Very good food and service.

Five of us met for a late dinner. Excellent food presented very well. Service was crisp and well managed. Waiting staff made us feel very welcome. This was our second visit and was just as good as the first.

Hopping on a Saturday night when we arrived, but only a short wait led to fun, traditional Roman food including saltimbocca, sardines and local cheeses. Textures, tastes and scents all worked the way they should.

went together with 4 friends, sitting on a table outside in the balmy Rome air on the Parioli hill. had a meal based on fresh porcini mushroom, first fettuccine and then a "tagliata" and my usual castelli romani. Left the fish to my friends and have not regretted it. A place to revisit.

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
