My family and I just ate at Moma Ristorante. We thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine and the atmosphere. The chef provided and an amuse bouche and a dessert sampler that was wonderful. It was a welcome change from traditional, touristy Rome restaurants. After traveling 16 days throughout Italy this is definitely one of our top restaurants. There was something for everyone,... It's late August and all of the restaurants in Rome that were recommended to us are closed. Our hotel concierge suggested Ristorante MOMA , explaining thAt it is very good and close. We were skeptical. Wow. A cool, modern space, excellent service and exquisite, inventive food. Not your usual Italian trattoria. Belissima.

After falling short trying to book a few of the high-end eateries in Rome, I came across this fantastic restaurant - and I'm so glad I stumbled across this place. If you are wanting to take your family and or partner to a special place to try food that looks stunning and tastes divine, there is no need to look... More

Visiting Italy from the U.S., we found restaurant staff in Rome treated us like an inconvenience (not our experience in Florence or Venice). Moma was the only restaurant where we were welcomed and rewarded with excellent cuisine and desserts.

Maybe my pallet is simply not made for this sort of food. Everything I put in my mouth from start to finish was pretty awful and super fishy. One week later and I still can't get this fish taste out of my mouth. The only thing that wasn't fishy was the wine. I almost always finish my plate, even if... More

We visited MOMA in 2015 and chose it initially because it was close to our hotel just off Via Veneto. We fell in love with it then so it was a no brainier to go back this trip. Actually it's so good we cancelled another dinner reservation and went back a second time. The staff are wonderful, very welcoming and... More

We had previously visited Moma in 2013 and really enjoyed the experience, so when it came to choosing restaurants for this year's Rome trip we decided to return. This meal was probably more enjoyable than 2013 with an adventurous modern style, great taste and supported by helpful and friendly staff who were not too intrusive. This was our favourite meal... Had a wonderful meal at Moma, on the night Italy defeated Spain in soccer no less! So the mood was upbeat. We had the tasting menu, and was not disappointed. We finished with the pear in red wine sauce. Sublime! If you have to eat one meal in Rome, do it at Roma!!

We went for the 5 course tasting menu and were not disappointed. We really enjoyed how different each course was and how they were foods and combinations we had not tried before. The sirloin and apricot courses were our favourites. Other dishes being brought out looked excellent too, we wanted a larger tasting menu. Given the menu prices drinks weren't... More

When me and my partner visited Rome we ate out at this restaurant one of the evenings. The food was ok, however (not sure if this was a specific fish restaurant as it wasn't stated when we booked) but there was limited meat options. The staff were very helpful topping wine and water up when it ran out and the... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
