Had a very good pasta pomodoro here for a lunch. I just love Italian food as it's simple and fresh, just like this time. This pasta was served as gluten free, a big bonus. The restaurant is located near the port with a nice view...More
Pooped in here on a trip to the island. We had lovely fresh calamari and prawns, amazing insalata caprese and the most amazing pasta with lemon and prawns. Lovely spot looking out to sea and lovely local wine. Defo pop in if you are visiting.
Lunch with my wife and child (10 months). At first we had to ask for a high chair, then we had to wait 15 minutes to order. 50 minutes later the first dish arrived and only for my wife. Then my dish came 5 minutes...More
I puked all night long. Seafood had no taste and wasn't fresh at all. Fish wasn't even cooked and for the price, we had nothing on side to eat. Certainly one of the worst restaurant I've ever been, even a starving Pierre Menes wouldn't eat...More

This is a lovely family run restaurant on the marina of Procida island.
Fish is always fresh and superbly prepared, they have interesting local wines and prices are very very moderate.
All dishes I tried were typical and very well presented. One of the best...More
It was a most sensual night to remember:
L'Approdo's cook is not only a maestro in the meaning of the word, he is in fact a true artist and thus, the restaurant's cuisine is so rich, beautifully served and put together with heart and sense...More
We're naturally leery of a restaurant right on the main port strip where the ferries disembark, but this family run restaurant is a gem.
The tuna polpette are outstanding, if they aren't on the menu, ask for them! They also make a delicious, classic linguine...More
A group of 9 went here for our evening meal. The waiter took our order. 5 main meals arrived. 4 main meals never arrived. It turned out they ran out of food. The kitchen then closed and they could not provide us with an alternative...More
After roaming around the beautiful island of Procida, we returned to Marina Grande and stepped into L'Approdo for lunch. Only one table was occupied--by a half dozen members of the local coast guard. We sampled a couple of different bruschette (the pomodoro was the best)...More
