Entered the Roman town through the west entrance by the train station and popped out the amphitheatre gate to have a spot of lunch and ice cream. The ice cream here is the best I have tasted! After lunch back into the site for the return leg via more ruins to the train station. A good half time treat!

There must have been 30 flavours of ice cream on offer. There were several different types of cone. 3 euro's buys you a cone and three scoops !!! I think it's well worth 3 euros. I had a blackcurrent cheesecake scoop, a vanilla, and something with nuts :) Can't remember what it was called. Absolutely delicious ! We walked past... More

You should know better when the local italians are rating this 1 star. The main lady at cash register was rude - gave change of 2 euros and realized i had the 1.20 euros in exact change so i gave that to her. She tossed it back at me and took the 2 euros on the table and gave me... More

Best ice-cream of the trip. Cheap, and great flavors. nocciola, lemon and for de latte were the best ones.

We walked past here after visiting the ruins of Pompeii and stopped for a coffee and an ice cream. The ice cream tastes pretty good but I did find the service to be a bit rude :/

We visited this shop twice while in Pompei, first for ice cream, this was OK but not as good as others we had tasted, slightly icy rather than creamy, was a lovely shop though with a lovely selection of ice creams, cakes, pastries and coffee. The second time we bought an Oreo gateau which was quite expensive at 23 euros... More

The baked goods are excellent. I loved the tarts. Wasn't a fan of everything I tried, but most was great! Also had some gelato - it wasn't the best I've had in Italy, but it was pretty good! There's a few chairs inside and outside. You can also get things to go, and they wrap it up in a pretty... More

We passed this on our walk to enter the ruins at Pompei, and promised ourselves a treat on our return, we weren't disappointed. The cakes, pastries, and gelato were exquisite to look at and tasted fantastic. Well worth a visit and an ideal way to spend 40 minutes indulging, not expensive either.

Thank John C
