Add'u Mimi was recommended to me buy our cousins from Bosco Tre Case and I was not disappointed. The food was excellent, Roberto (owner) was very attentive with our dietary requirement's ensuring we enjoyed our meal. The food was value for money and the local...wine was a hit. I would recommend anybody visiting Pompeii to give this restaurant a try you will not be disappointed. See you again RobertoMore

Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by Roberto (the owner), being seated, drink order taken took maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and was excellent. Roberto and his staff were very friendly and helpful and LOVED children. This place...was great for small children from our experience! Roberto played peek-a-boo and duck quacked each time he walked by our table. If you’re looking for AMAZING authentic Italian food then look no further! Thank you Roberto And team for making us feel at home!More

We read positive reviews online for this place and decided to try it out for lunch. We didn't regret it! We started with several antipasti (I am a vegetarian, so no meat: bruchetta, grilled vegetables and fresh mozarella) and had pasta as a main course....I enjoyed the gnocci, my husband ate a very tasty pasta arrabiata. The restaurant has a nice terrace where you can sit under the shades of the wineranks. We had a chat with the owner Roberto who treated us to a Limoncello and told us about the huge impact the Covid 19 crisis has on the restaurants and tourism in Italy. Normally Pompei is swamped by tourists now it is rather quiet for the time of the year. The owner kept emphasizing how important it is for tourists to go out and eat in the local restaurants. We certainly recommend this restaurant when visiting Pompei!More

Went to this restaurant after Italy opened back up. Staff was extremely nice. Their restaurant has a rich family history and great food at a fair price. Highly recommend. Try the finocchietto!

My daughter and I were greeted warmly upon arrival by Roberto. He was very helpful with the menu guiding us to his vegetarian options. The wine from the region he chose for us was so smooth. The homemade pasta was nothing but top notch. Never...tasted anything so good. And yes, I have had homemade pasta before. When it came time for dessert (dolce) we could not decide so we ordered one of each. One, he has won an award for! So delicious, not one crumb left on the plate. This is a Trattoria you cannot pass if you are in the Pompeii area or even if you are not it is well worth the train, drive, flight just to go here. My next trip to Italy I will not come home without having another meal here. Please go see Roberto and sit and enjoy the excellent service of him and his staff and don't leave without having the dessert (dolce). Thank You Roberto for making our evening memorable!More

As soon as we arrived we had a detailed explanation about a diversity of dishes. Roberto explained with patience and dedication every detail of his delicious dishes from starters to dessert. We crossed Italy from Milan to Napoli, and I admit that this place was...one of the best places we visited ever.More

Food is good and very close to the archaeological site, but they took a lot of time to take the order and serve the food

Waiters knew what he was talking about, very professional. The new guy was very smiley and greeted us nicely. They spoke French which was very helpful for my parents. The seafood was very good as well as the pasta. Would go again.

We ate at the back of the restaurant in the tucked away terrace. Traditional food available on the menu; we shared a mixed antipasti platter and the bruschetta especially was delicious. I had the special pasta - aubergine, tomato, garlic - which I really enjoyed....My husband and mother-in-law had the ‘pizza steak’; steak with tomato, garlic, oregano. It went down very well - delicious sauce. Friendly service too although it was very rapid- the mains started coming as we were eating our starter.More

Simply gorgeous, high quality, and authentic traditional Italian dishes. The staff, especially the owner, were friendly and passionate about their food. I was concerned the prices would be high due to its fantastic location next to the ruins but it was extremely good value. Would...recommend to all.More
