It’s funny based on the location of this restaurant I would have assumed it was a tourist trap but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service and the prices were not bad. They also had an excellent gluten free selection - almost everything on the menu could be made gluten free (pasta, pizza and sandwiches). I had a gluten free pizza and although it was a pre-made crust they cooked it very nicely so it was crisp and seemed like it may have even been wood-fired. The fans and misters are a blessing after walking around Pompeii and the service was prompt.

Excellent pizza, good wine, quick and friendly service. After a very tiring visit in Pompeii, we were very happy to find this good restaurant just opposite to the entry.
If the value for money and the friendliness of staff is clearly above average for such touristic sites.

Beautiful little spot across from main entrance to pompeii. The sandwiches are heavenly. The fries are tasty and interestingly shaped. The toasted ham and cheese is great. If course you need to have the hot chocolate, which is very thick and creamy. They also make freshly squeezed fruit juice (except no apple juice). The patio is nice and sunny and mostly protected from wind. Would definitely eat here again.

This “restaurant” is a compilation of the worst italian food you can get. Napoli is known for being the Heaven on earth pizza wise, and this place would be it’s exact opposite, Hell.
We orderered very simple pizzas, pepperoni & capriciosa.
Whatever arrived 3 minutes later was closer to dog food than italian cuisine.
This short wait was probably explained by the fact that they are just heating the pizza up and clearly not making them on the spot, at least I hope, otherwise that chef is a 13 yo kid doing an internship.
The tomato sauce was more liquid than the water we ordered, the pizza‘s dough was uncooked, and last but not least, they had the brilliant idea to gather the entire ocean’s salt and put it in the pizza, to the point where I almost puked in my plate on the second bite.
I love pizza, I have tasted many of them, in many places and this, by far, is the WORST one if have ever tried in my entire experience
Oh and also, they tried to charge me twice the drinks.
Stay away from this place, unless you are a huge fan of AC/DC and you want to live their famous title “highway to hell”.

We got the bill when we just started eating. They asked us if we were done while we were just taking a bite half way through our meal, and started to turn off all the lights. If you are closing soon then don't accept new customers if you don't plan on giving them enough time to finish eating. Food was ok. Not bad but worst on our trip and most expensive.

We bought some water before going into the Pompeii site. One of the guys working there said that the water cost 1 euro each. When we went to pay and should him two waters, he said "3 euro." Had we had not questioned him, he would have taken an extra euro from us.
Later, upon returning to the train, a different guy sold us water. He tried to charge us 3 euro for a Coke until we started to put it back, and then all of a sudden it was 2 euro.
Watch yourself if you go here and count your change.

This restaurant is directly opposite the entrance to the ruins which makes it really handy for both pre-tour coffee/pastries and post-tour lunch and drinks. Would highly recommend the fresh orange juice, and although the food is plentiful and nothing gourmet, it definitely does the job. Nice cool mist is sprayed around which is lovely in the extreme heat! Waiters are all rushing about and so you have to chase a bit for service/the bill but it was incredibly busy so it’s understandable.

I picked this restaurant via a gluten free App as the restaurant was on the way to the train station. Seemed OK initially. The waiter informed me they had gluten free options. I ordered a pasta carbonara and just ate the pasta as I was so hungry. I think you get used to a really high standard of food in Italy and this really didn't match up. The sauce was weirdly lumpy and tasted nothing like a carbonara. I went to pay, that was fun! Went to the counter and asked to pay for our table. I had preggo shouted at me a few times by two very angry workers and something else random in Italian. I queued in another area to pay and was brought the bill by the waiter - €30 for a pasta carbonara, an aperol spritz and a peroni plus another €3 for a service charge. The staff continously shouted "cash" at everyone paying but then used the card machines when people had none. No thank you, goodbye or eye contact. Rude, rude, rude.

We arrived early for a Pompei tour and ducked in here to get out of the sun more than anything! Food was good for what could be a touristy place, but the atmosphere was really good with lots of big fans and misters to keep everyone cool whilst being surrounded by lemon plants under a canopy. We had the fresh mozzarella which was just as good as anywhere else along the Amalfi, as well as a couple of their vast selection of ice cold drinks! We also went back for more after our tour, as it’s the first place you see when you come out of the Porta Marina Superiore entrance - it’s hard to miss with all the lemons! Service is great until you need to pay where it got a bit confusing - but you just need to ask for the receipt and go to the counter if you’re paying by card! Prices were ok, more expensive than what we were used to in Napoli but given that it’s directly outside an entrance to Pompei it could have been much worse. Not a bad place to cool down and kill some time before entering the ruins!

Visited after a very enjoyable but HOT visit around pompei. We were taken straight to our seats in the shade and served ice cold fresh fruit juices and bread/olives. I ordered a huge salad which was delicious!! My partner ordered ravioli which he enjoyed. The service was friendly and very quick.

I had been warned that the restaurants around Pompeii were terrible, but we were just so hungry after hours of exploring that we had no choice – and I was so pleasantly surprised! The prices were definitely more expensive than we encountered in Naples, but I think that’s to be expected outside of a major tourist attraction. My husband’s sandwich was fine and unexpectedly large. My pizza came right out of the oven and was almost liquid, but cooled into something undeniably delicious. I also thought the space itself was lovely and a good place to relax after a long day. It certainly wasn’t the most amazing food we had during our holiday, but much nicer than a lot of reviewers give it credit for.

Literally the worst food I've ever had while traveling. We stopped in here after a long (and wonderful) tour of Pompeii because we were starving. I would have rather eaten stale crackers found in the garbage. The prosciutto smelled of rotten socks, the melon was unripe, and the mozzarella looked like it had been soaked in dirty water since the beginning of time and tasted rotten. The tomatoes looked okay but had a strange after taste to it.
I stupidly ordered a margarita (I know - this one was my fault!) and it tasted of gasoline.
I normally wouldn't leave such a negative review if the staff or the service had at least been a bit pleasant but the servers were not friendly, didn't make eye contact, and just threw the food at you in a rush to get you out of there. I wish they had just ignored us completely so we wouldn't have eaten there at all.
Spare yourself a stomachache and buy a Snickers outside the stand to hold you over until you get back to your destination.

Have never written a bad review about a place but can’t let this go. They advertised $1.50 for drinks and when we got to the cash register they charged us $5 each. They were extremely rude and laughed and yelled at us. Not professional. Would definitely not recommend this place. Keep walking and don’t waste your time or money here.

Service was fast and the waiters were quite okay.
The food was a disaster. We had gotten used to Italy’s amazing cuisine and only ate there because we had not eaten all day (because of unforseen circumstances). I didn’t even eat half of the pizza I ordered, regardless of being hungry and left the restaurant still hungry. My partner had a burger, which was okay.
When we went to the counter to pay. The lady was in an argument with a waiter and was yelling at him and being unfriendly to us and being annoyed towards us, even though we didn’t do anything. No hello, no thank you, no goodbye.
After this brief encounter we decided to use the toilets before leaving. One of the waitresses came out of the bathroom. I realised quite quickly that she only went in there to smoke, making breathing really hard and leaving me with the taste of old tobacco in my mouth.

This restaurant surely enjoys the advantage of the best location in Pompeii and it does not disappoint with its cute seating area! The fresh orange juice is the best way to start your trip. The menu is quiet good and the food is very well made. The service is quite fast. Highly recommend.
