This place is *amazing*. Saying that everything is fresh would be an understatement. We got the crudo misto one day and some of the food on it was, literally, still moving. It cannot get any fresher than that. It's so tasty and good just thinking...about it makes me hungry again. Also, it's not fancy and scruffy at all, and there are fancy, scruffy restaurants that can't get anywhere near the level of quality this unassuming place has. Everything, from the bread and pasta to the olives and the tomatoes, are fresh and flavourful. Nobody cuts any corners. Everyone's super friendly, too. Protip: look over the Italian menu, too. There are some dishes that cater more towards local taste and you might miss them. It's not a scam -- the prices are identical, this isn't the usual tourist trap -- but there are a few things, like the raw seafood platter, that aren't advertised, presumably because very few tourists want them. If you've been to Italy before and/or you know you like those dishes, you won't be disappointed. Also, if you're a big fan of cod fish like yours truly, their baccala is to die for!More

Simply the freshest, highest quality seafood you can get in Naples. The pasta dishes are simple, executed perfectly and bursting with flavor and the prices are very fair. I’ve eaten here 4x and always super as you can tell by the photo. Bravo!

Tasty food, menu offers a nice choice however would be nice if you can just order from the fresh fish they offer in their store food is served quickly, however once finished they will make sure you leave to seat other customers

Fabulous… a seafood must in Napoli.. we saw this place in the day time as we were staying close by.. came back in the evening.. beautiful seafood, fab vibe & they even do take out.. we did one night there in these historic streets &...one night tags out.. both were amazing and we will be back *even had fab pasta dishes & veg sides for one of us who is veganMore

So this was a personal recommendation from a friend ,and we were prepared for the wait , So It had to be good! the constant queue of people waiting will tell you just how popular a restaurant this is. We had the fried mixed fish...and the marinated fish platter ordered as mains but came as starters, wow ! The best calamari we have ever tasted the batter was full of flavour and seasoned to perfection . cooked perfectly!! the marinated fish was expensive for this restaurant at 20 euros but trust me there is a lot of quality fish on this plate, a load of salmon, crab ( shredded white meat) what seems like a full octopus ,oh and the anchovies Bellisimo!! We had ordered the hand made pasta for both starters one with mussels and one with aubergine and swordfish, Absolutely perfect !! even the further wait between the courses just worked as this meant the first course had time to settle . Highly recommended be prepared to wait, its worth it ! four courses two large beers and a water 58 euros and the best qualityMore

We had seen the queues 2 days earlier and decided to try it ourselves. What a place ! With mopeds tooting and crowds walking by delicious food was swiftly brought to us! Such an experience .. a must do event!

The place is very nice. No posh and fancy. If you want to feel a local atmosphere, the visit to the restaurant is a must. But the service was horrible. It seems that the restaurtant wants to have as many guest as possible, so you...are required to decide about the meal, readig menu card waiting for the table. The lady, who plays a manager role is just rude. She and her colleague waiter were upset nad ungry if we needed more time to choose the dish.More

So good. Really good value (€6 bottle of wine and our entire bill came to €60) and some of the best fish I've had in Italy. Huge, sloppy, yum portions of fresh fish from next door. Don't go if you want something posh and fancy...but do go if you want to be surrounded by locals (be prepared to wait a bit, get a beer from the shop next door and sit on the chairs) who are all having as much fun as you.More
