Excellent service and food. Our server understood English and translated the entire menu... Even giving explanations why a certain food was listed or ingredient used. We ordered a recommended red wine that was perfect for our order. The potato with cheese and salami (cat potato) was great. The Sartu is the best dish we had. Then the seasonal pasta dish... More

The 'sartù' was really good, the service was okay. This restaurant was advised by the owner of our B&B Week-end a Napoli.

This is a lovely, small restaurant where they really care about the food and ingredients they use - the gentleman serving us told us that they grow a lot of their own food. Was a little bit worried when we read the menu as we speak no Italian whatsoever and didn't recognise everything on the menu but it was explained... More

This is a Volmero Neighborhood gem. Everything we ordered was just divine. We cleaned our plates so thoroughly with our bread that the waiter teased us that they do have a dishwasher! Ha... Their artichoke starter was lovely, the pasta ragu, the sartu dish, the bracoile. Everything was so perfectly prepared and presented. We asked for a regional wine suggestion... More

What a unique and wonderful little neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Vomero. They take local, farm produce, cheese, meat and wines and create special dishes that aren't the typical southern Italian fare. It's both a lovely change of pace from the normal offerings and delicious. The owner takes pride and delight in his place and it shines thru from... More

This is not only one of my favorite neighborhood places, it's one of the best restaurants I have found, especially for the price. It's very tiny, probably less than a dozen tables, and staffed by 1 or 2 very able servers. The atmosphere is dim, romantic and artsy, with posters from musical groups and stage performances. The menu changes frequently,... More

Our hotel staff had recommended other restaurants (for which they had cards, but those restaurants had terrible reviews on Trip Adviser), and had never heard of Sartu. Our taxi driver also suggested it would be too much trouble to come to the Vomero district, but we placed our faith in Trip Advisor, and we are so, so glad we did!... More

I must say. I travel a lot and I always try to find great small local spots. Naples is full of great food spots, but this one by far is awesome. I had to go twice in the 2 weeks I was there. The cool thing is that the menu changes weekly. The food is phenomenal and the presentations are... More
