After having eating a lot of pizza's in Naples, decided to try this one while in the neighborhood (and because it looked like it was full of people, which is always a good sign). We were seated in the basement, but the service was good and the pizza was delicious. Maybe not the greatest in Naples, but still very good.... More

I went to manfredi with friends that live in the area...the service was great and the food was amazing. Very family friendly place. Great rustic interior. You feel like you are sitting in nonna's kitchen. All the locals hang here. If you want authentic great food look no further

We chanced upon this restaurant, tired and hungry. There are a few other restaurants in the street which all look better in terms of decor and style. Not one had as many people sat outside as this one, and as they were mainly Italians we thought this is the one to go for. I was not disappointed. Although the food... More

Seemed to be a nice place given the amount of locals. It turned out an epic fail. We ordered two pastas, a risotto and a grilled saumon. We had to wait 40 minutes for getting what we have ordered after asking for their attention twice. Portions were a bit scarce and they didn't waste the opportunity to put another round... More

We ordered the chef and 4 formaggio pizzas; the chef pizza was delicious (ham, mushrooms, cheese and a white sauce), the other one was just ok (was a 4 cheese pizza). Staff don't speak English and menu is all in Italian so be aware.

We had our first meal here in Napoli after a delay flying out to Italy. We had only intended to have a light meal as it was late but were enticed by the waiter to try the local speciality of cooked squid and fried bait - both with a liberal sprinkle of local fresh lemon juice. It was just what... More

Italy is of course known for great pizza and most places you can't go wrong. This place, however, is above the rest. The pizza Manfredi (with ricotta cheese inside the crust) is simply the best pizza I have ever eaten. Of course the place Bill Clinton went when he was in Naples for the G7 meeting has excellent pizza. The... More

Located in a narrow pedestrian street perpendicular to the promenade (close to the small beach), we decided to dine here as it was very busy with locals on a Sunday. I can see why, the pizzas were probably the best I've had in Naples. There were no cars and scooters screaming past which also made a difference. My only crib... More

Food was very nice. Both mussels and it's speciality: pizza manfredi that has tomato, mozzarella and ricotta. Surprise was went the bill came. From 19,50 euros, they added 1 euro as coperto and 2,5 as service so final charge was 23, it means 18% extra cost. Bitter dessert for good dinner
