Owned and operated by the beautiful Mattiucci family, this place is the coolest, most convivial dining experience I have ever had in Napoli. The freshest seafood in town, brilliant chef, communal dining, awesome music, beautiful decor, cold white wine, and hot Neapolitans--What more could you...ask for?!More
We came for dinner and this was the most perfect seafood experience we ever had. We had white wine and several mussels, oysters and pulpo for two people and paid 70 €, which was totally worth it for the quality of food we got. We...will go there again the next time we visit Napoli! Grazie mille!!More
Simply amazing seafood. We both had the Crudo, which was simply the best Crudo either of us had ever had. The fish was so fresh, the mixture of herbs, fruit, Olive oil and seasoning sublime. Highly recommended if you want fresh, raw, seafood.
What a great idea to turn your fish monger counter into an afterwork casual fish eatery. I really loved this place, the fish is great, the vibe is very Neapolitan and their service quite good. Great place to meet people and talk to strangers over...a glass of wine. I get that it is a casual place but given the quality of the fish I would like to have more choice of wine rather than just the (very decent) house wine.More
Our travel agent recommended this hole in the wall. We loved it. It is funky, not touristy, and superb fresh fish. Limited wine list but who cares when the fish is this good? Go early,,like close to 7:30 when they open, then take a stroll...and grab some dessert among the many options in this upscale neighborhood.More
Ate at this lovely restaurant on a great street. They make a new menu every day depending on what they catch. Some of the best seafood in the country!
Great place, amazing food, friendly staff always ready to help You choose best dish for You. Easly can communicate in English. Fish was magnificent, fresh, well seasoned and the wine was good too.
A small place run by 4 brothers. The place itself does not look that extraordinary. You might miss it if you don't pay close attention while looking for it. It has very with limited seating, but the food, and service are definitely are anything but...ordinary. If you enjoy fresh seafood, or simply want to try something other than pizza and pasta while in Naples, this is the place to go! The seafood is fresh, and prepared nicely, with a price tag that will not actually break your wallet. Fresh seafood with this price?! Fresh oysters costed 2.5 Euros each the night we went, whereas the same would cost between 7-8 Euros earlier in the week while we were on Capri and then Positano. Good thing we saved the best for last. We had both cooked and uncooked seafood. My wife is very particular about how certain fish ought to be cooked, and she loved the cooked cod, saying the last time she had the cooked cod this good was in Japan! Thanks Pescheria Mattiucci for making our last night in Naples memorable!More
We loved the fish, the service and the cool decor. Not to much touristy but they speak English and serve all foreigners very well (at a fair price). Besides, they are in Chiaia, the best neighborhood in Napoli.
