I ordered a frappe (it was displayed as a Sundae but apparently it is just gelato blended with milk) Although I don't like milkshake this was delicious.
My boyfriend had banana and melon gelato and sorbet. Banana was nice.
When I walked in I asked...a staff member what a frappe was and with little English she spoke she said it was with anything, chocolate, caramel etc. Then she started sweeping the floor as I was ordering with a different colleague. The girl that took my order was so so so rude. She started talking to a friend. Then my boyfriend ordered his gelto first. She already took out a cone for me. When I said i wanted a frappe she rolled her eyes as if I was interrupting her spare time with her friend. No grazie, no manners. Left a bitter taste prior to consumingMore
With several locations across Napoli, the most well-known on Via Toledo, Casa Infante is celebrated for thick Gelato made from seasonal ingredients, and thanks to high-fat Cream plus organic Eggs the texture may just be the city’s smoothest.
A part of Naples Food scene since...the 1940s, and now in its third generation, Casa Infante began as purveyors of Almond & Pepper Tarallo, but having since grown wise to global trends the family now plies its trade in Pastry and Ice Cream.
Recognizable by branding, a push-cart selling Baba parked out front, it is immediately upon entry that guests’ eyes widen at some three-dozen flavors, classics present alongside decidedly “American” flavors like Oreo and more unique ideas such as Vesuvius Apricot Cake.
Served in a variety of Cones, or even Brioche, it seems prudent for first-timers to invest in tradition, and although the “Pastiera” flavor was expectedly sweet it still maintained balance thanks to its richness while Pistachio and Nougat offered some textural heterogeneity and more subtlety.More
We were 4 adults visiting, and we served by the most delightful assistants who helped us choose from a wide range of flavours and options. We all thoroughly enjoyed our choices, the ice cream was really tasty. Would thoroughly recommend.
We were going to the Pizza festival and luckily stopped by this place. It was very clean, the Gelato was so good and the staff was very friendly especially Antonella who helped us patiently while my wife and I were taking our times picking between...so many flavours.
The Gelato was by far the best in Naples and even better coz of the great service of the young Antonella.More
