Worth coming to Naples just for this ice cream. Lovely flavours - no artificial tastes. We went back two nights running. Recommended!

Definitely the best ice cream we had during our stay in the city. A rather odd name for a gelateria as it doesn't suggest anything regarding the nature of the shop. The chocolate ice cream was busrsting with flavour.

The icecream here is light and tasty, with several different flavours. I had the vesuvio and the pistachio flavours, they were very good. Definitely recommended.

We went to the shop on the corner of San Sebastiano and Benedetto Croce in the Naples old town. Yes it was nice ice cream but based on the other reviews I expected more. I would say that the natural ice cream shop on via Toledo was much nicer than this ice cream (Mennella il Gelato, near the H&M). Also,... More

Their chocolate gelato is the best I have ever had. It was delicious and I regret that I didn't have one every day of my trip to Naples. A must!

We tried several of the highly rated Gelato shops in Naples and enjoyed all of them. i was still intrigued by what I had read about "Gay Odin" so we decided to stop in one evening and try the chocolate gelato. For my taste, this is the best gelato I have ever eaten and this includes many trips to different... More

This is serious stuff. Grand cru gelato. Don't try it if your palate isn't up to it - the tastes unfold layers of memory and fantasy you didn't know you had. Don't eat it walking in the street - you'll only embarrass yourself with your reactions. The dark chocolate one leaves no part of your senses untouched - like a... More

I'm not really big on chocolate & ice cream, but my fiancé is! And after reading about this place was "asked" if we could visit it! I'm glad she did, because even I throughly enjoyed it. A fair amount of flavours to choose from & enjoyed all the ones she chose for me!!

We passed the shop on Spaccanapoli lots of times. At first, I wasn't aware of their longtime reputation in the city but gathered as much when I saw their name as a provider to a restaurant we were in. Obviously, their strength is in different types of chocolate so I picked up some Chocolate with Rhum ice cream to take... More

Lovely little shop! Mostly chocolate, but we went here to get some ice cream! Not a whole lot of choice, but we'd heard good stories and wanted to check it out! The yoghurt one with apricot was really good! Prices for ice cream are about the same as other places!
