We went there for our last dinner in Naples, it was a great choice. The staff was super nice to provide more vegetarian options. The food was very delicious! What we liked the most is how they combine in a special way different local ingredients. We highly recommend it.

Their food was a little fancier than most places around. It was also the first place where we encountered somewhat small portions. We split an eggplant, buratta, and tomato mousse. While it was excellent, it could have used double the fried eggplant. My husband had a pork shank on blue potato puree with veggies. Again excellent - but also small.... More

We were initially worried by the fact that this restaurant was almost empty, even in the evening: but we ended up eating there twice. The food was I think local in style (lots of fish, twists on traditional sauces) but presented very elegantly. I was particularly struck by the desserts, which were more "fine dining" in style but based on... More

We really enjoyed our meal at Ecomesara. The food is presented beautifully, tastes good and is prepared differently from the usual Italian food. I really enjoyed my aubergine, mozzarella and tomato starter, and my husband's cod mantecata and pea starter was equally delicious. The rest was just as good, and limoncello for me, and walnut liquor for my husband, finished... More

An excellent meal -- delicious and beautifully presented. Such a lovely change from pasta and pizza, Ecomesara' is hidden on a dark street (we felt very safe walking to it) behind Santa Chiara church and was a delightful oasis in busy, chaotic Naples. Thank you to other Trip Advisor reviewers who recommended it -- we were so happy we found... More

Without doubt, this was the best food we had in Naples. It appears to be a family run business, and they clearly take great care in preparing interesting interpretations of both new and classic dishes. We asked to share a pasta, and they brought it in separate bowls, looking and tasting amazing. We tried 2 different fish dishes, both excellent.... More

The dishes we had here were tasty and interesting. I had the orata encrusted with chopped almonds served with thin-sliced raw zucchini and my wife had the duck breast (sliced & medium rare) served with apple slices in a crunchy batter with paprika (maybe a little too much paprika) and dollops of pureed zucca. The waiter was very pleasant. He... More

Ecomesara starter including zucchini flowers were delicious. Seabas with carmelised onions, potato puree and fennel was well cooked and full of flavour so do hand made delicate gnocchi with clams. Definitely worth a visit.
