Poor quality expensive wine, no garnish or side dish included, too expensive compared to quality. To much tip for nothing.

On our 3rd night in Naples we stumbled upon this little restaurant up one of the back streets, whilst looking for a change from the crowded seafront restaurants. The food and ambience are homely and unpretentious. The scaloppine (veal) was just so tender, the best we had in the 8 days we were in Sorrento/Naples and the chips and salad... More

Based upon Trip Advisor reviews, we chose to have dinner at this place - what a disappointment! I ordered lasagne and my companion had veal. After a couple of bites, I found the lasagne was stone cold in the middle. I brought this to the attention of the female member of staff who took my plate away and then after... More

With Gambrinus on the left corner, walk away from San Carlo up the slope. Just before the bridge, turn up the steps (Gradoni Di Chaiai) and this lovely restaurant is just on tne left. The Don and his wife run the place and while he is reserved, they are both very welcoming and everything is freshly cooked. The spaghetti with... More

We sat there before 2pm, left at about 4pm. Almost missed a tour in the pm. Asked a couple of times for our missing dishes we were told first that the cook got "confused" and then that they "freshly" prepare every dish so it takes time. Probably "we're sorry" would have worked much better. Food was fine. It's not easy... More

Just off the beaten track you'll find this very neat and tidy family run restaurant serving local specialties at excellent prices. Friendly service, excellent food using fresh ingredients and an exceptionally tidy washroom (always important to the wife, and usually lacking in beloved Naples). We'll be back!

This is not fine dining, but proper food prepared the way it should. The place is run by a sympathetic couple, apparently also the owner. A varied menu for such a small place. This place feels like home. Not expensive, so high rating is because of value for money.

We came in around 9pm and were welcomed by the owner and got a table for two in the corner. My girlfriend's lasagna was the best she ever had, with a lovely twist of ricotta in there. The bill including a quarter liter of white wine, a big beer and two main dishes per person come to 40 euro. Would... More

Ok, so they say that real Italian food is in Naples. well, it is true. SO true. This place lived up to my dreams of spaghetti and meatballs, tiramisu, seafood, mozzarella, just everything. And the owner is so sweet and checked in on us. We ate outside, it was just lovely. And so not expensive. Naples was the cheapest place... More

If you miss the pasta your Sicilian grandma used to make this is the place for you. Lots of restaurants have menus in English, French, German, Spanish--- whatever. But here you get Italian and Dialect on the menu, so the food's got the same name your Nonna used to call it. It's cheap too and tastes like italian food cooked... More
