Went there last week and found a hoard of people outside, chaotic with no order. So, thought "I'll go earlier next week". Came right at 11 when they opened and found another chaotic hoard of people. But decided to persist. Had no idea where to...line up as there was no signage or explanation of what to do. So, went inside and found an unwashed, greasy man who looked as if he'd rather by shoveling a pile of sh*t, and I asked "how can I order for takeaway?" to which he pointed outside and said "line". I then asked "there are many lines, is there a specific one for takeaway?" to which he said, "go out". The pizza might be good, I'll never know because there is absolutely no way I'm giving any of my money to them. This place is an absolute disgrace to the food service industry. Shame on them.More

Pizza = 5 stars Price (only 5 euros) = 5 stars Experience = 3 stars The pizza is phenomenal and the price is excellent. I went on a Wednesday evening and waited about an hour for take away. It’s a small restaurant on a dirty...street. The man letting people in and managing the line was smoking, the line was right by huge trash bins, and several people in line were smoking. Loved the food, glad I did it, but would only go back if no line.More

I’ve lived in Naples for years, my wife is from Naples. My family and I have eaten in many locations throughout the city and have never felt pressured to leave a tip. A tip is something that the customer should decide and not have the...waiter asking you after you pay the bill and waiting by your table until you give him something. In all my years of living in Naples this was the only place that has ever done this. Regarding the pizza. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad pizza in Naples. This pizza was good but not worth the wait or the absurdity of feeling pressured to leave a tip. I will not return.More

The line for the pizza at 6p on a Saturday to dine in was only about 30 minutes for 3 people. You go to the front and get a number. We had to wait about 25 spots and it only took 30 minutes. The pizza...was really good. The staff was friendly. Comparing it to Sorbillo, I would say Sorbillo was betterMore

It was my favorite pizza ever. It was very good, they made everything perfect. If someone don' t want to wait / too much/ than have to take away.

There isn't as much choice in both pizza and drinks and it gets really crowded, but this was a fantastic experience. The pizzas have a great taste and the atmosphere was cozy. It was one of the best pizzas I ever had. It was very...cheap as well. The whole experience was also really cool. Take care as is gets really crowded throughout the day. We came on a Thursday morning/afternoon around 11am and we had to wait already, although short.More

As others have said (should have looked here first, having got the recommendation from a blog) this is a very overrated place. We expected to wait ages since it's so popular, but noticed people who came way after us getting theirs first. Turns out they'd...forgotten our ticket, but staff were very unfriendly too (we were speaking Italian, so the language barrier was not the problem). Waited an hour for burned pizza with a watery topping. Don't believe the hype, go somewhere with friendlier vendors and less queues!More

Michele is the most overrated in Naples, having being surpassed years ago by other, better establishments, and now you can have same experience in London. They have to desperately try to keep up with the competitors by making their pizza larger and larger as a...gimmick. Extremely expensive for what they offer - 100 pounds for two pizzas. The service had a couple of great italian guys, can't fault them. The rest was bad - food and price. The owner came at the end, very arrogantly, grabbed our card, swiped it and went his own way. Notice that there were 2 other tables at the place, so it has nothing to do with him being very busy.More

As everyone else has noted, there is a wait and the queue can be very long but the pizza is worth it if you can wait! We had takeaway and perched on a nearby table. Simple menu and lovely food at a good price. the...staff are a little overwhelmed with the huge popularity of the place, and the crowd outside is a little confused between folks waiting for a table or takeaway. Advice if you wish to take away: check who is also waiting to order, as most are holding tickets for a table booking but look as though they are queuing. We discovered this eventually.More

Went in June and had to try. The queue is very long so we ordered at uber- eats and sat down at the bar across the street Bar Martini. Here you can freely enjoy your pizza and order drinks. The staff at Bar Martini is...very nice and friendly - would definetly recomend! The pizza was ok, worth to check out.More

We waited in the long line for about an hour to order and was it worth it. We got some beers to pass the time and took our order to go. We tried one of each pizza and they were all piping hot and delicious....It might not be the best place to go for a relaxing, end of day meal, but you should go at least once.More

The fact that this place is even allowed to exist in the same city with pizzerias like Sorbillo, or even better, Starita, is fascinating. Let's break it down. First of all, they claim to use a different, neutral oil, in order to make the other...ingredients take center stage. The twist is, the other ingredients are terrible, and so, the pizza simply leaves a greasy coating in your mouth. Better to just use some good olive oil then! The tomato sauce is tasteless, which is baffling, considering the incredible tomatoes in the area. The mozzarella lacks its specific sweet milky flavour and it just feels like eating polyester. And the dough is mediocre at best, and a bit burnt. And i do mean, burnt, not the tasty charred bubbles that you would expect from a wooden oven cooked pizza. I expect that is from the lack of attention the poor guys working there pay to the dough due to the still inexplicable high demand for this garbage. Please do yourself a flavour and don't waste a meal here, when you have so many incredible options in this great city. Also, they seem to have a weird underhanded deal with a bar nearby. They sent us there to place the order, since it would take less time than to ORDER DIRECTLY FROM THEM.More

We was recommended this place by a friend. We did stand in the takeaway queue for about 20 min. The atmosphere outside the restaurant was dirty and not so nice. After the order we got our pizza (margarita and marinara) in 5 min. We went...home to eat the pizzas (5 min walk). The first taste of pizza was just burnt. This was not a legendary pizza. It was a regular Neapolitan pizza that was burnt. Both pizzas tasted the same way. If you just eat the mozzarella and tomato sauce they were good. This place has been legendary but not anymore.More
