A sweet little unpretentious restaurant with delicious food

Many restaurants in the Chaia neighborhood are closed Monday evening, so we just happened to stumble upon this little gem of a restaurant. Simple food, just like you might eat at someone's house in Naples. Totally delicious, very reasonable priced. Not a lot of choices, mostly seafood and pasta, but simply prepared "alla napoletana". I highly recommend it for a... More

Lovely little find near our hotel. Beautiful food and lovely service. Shared a mixed starter with great tastes including rice balls, mozzarella and salad. Mains of pasta dish with tomatoes and cheese and sliced steak with chopped tomatoes and cheese. Tiramisu and panna cotta. House wind was good. Good value and great tastes.

We have been here several times now on our visit to this area and on each occasion have received excellent service. The lovely waitress is very helpful and she is more than happy to help translate the dishes on the menu for us. The pizzas are excellent, they also serve other dishes equally of very good standard. This is a... More

When we first arrived we didn't know what to expect. My boyfriend orderd steak and I orderd salad with meat. When the food came it already looked amazing but the taste was even better. My salad with pieces steak was absolutely amazing. Fair prices. The host was really friendly.

A little tricky to find but we'll worth the effort. The decor is unpretentious but the fare exceptionally good. Service was good and friendly and the place was full. Always a good sign. Highly recommended.

Went for lunch. Better margarita pizza than others , but what's the fuss about? Had six pizzas in Naples this was the only one not runny. Perhaps that's the style. Just finished dinner, ravioli, Bruschetta misto, veal scallopini, caprese salad. All ok Real service problem as the waiter was also the delivery man. Had to get our own olive oil and balsamic,... I had Margherita pizza at 6 different pizzerias while in Naples, Italy, including a few of the famous ones, and I think that Trattoria il Castello has the best Margherita Pizza in Naples, Italy. It was the only pizzeria in Naples that I decided to go back to a second time. (And then a third time.) And it's cheap. A... More

From Australia, popped in for a glass of wine.. Stayed for the antipasto... Very generous and the service was tailored and personal without being overbearing or annoying.. They recommended local bars and we're total gentlemen.. Much less famed than the Pizzaria da Michele up the road but worth the visit .... Do it!
