After a long search for gluten free pizza in Naples as well as some disappointing phone calls with restaurants that no longer cater for gluten free, one waiter recommended this restaurant - I called them and immediately made a reservation. They needed some notice for...the gluten free option - 30 mins to 1 hour suffices - and it was TOTALLY worth it. The next day we went back for gluten free calzone. That says it all.More

Regretted our visit the Ciro a Santa Brigida for lunch time pizza the service incredibly slow, unwelcoming and generally rude. Found we had been charged for an additional dish which then took and age to change the bill. A convenient location but food nothing special...and would recommend you find somewhere else.More

We were seated at an interesting table, overlooking the street. However, the waiter shoved menus at us, saying, "We close in half an hour!" We should've excused ourselves and left. Unfortunately, since we were hungry and the restaurant had been recommended, we ordered two pizzas...and a bottle of wine. When they arrived, 15 minutes later, we were told we'd need to eat in 15 minutes! Anyhow, we both ended up with heartburn the rest of the day and regretted ever going there!More

Situated just off the Via Toledo, this well established and traditional restaurant offers good service and local food and wine. The upstairs room is best; if dining alone or with just one companio,n you may well be seated in the enclosed veranda overlooking the Via...Santa Brigida. Locals of quality tend to outnumber visitors. When visiting Naples, I usually come here at least once.More

Food is tasty but environment is somehow compelling considering the tables distribution and way people sit closer. Some lack of organization with the attendants and when they started to attend a bid reserved table, the rest of customers had to wait for some time in...order to get some attention and order. Network signal is terrible if you try to pay with credit card and they need to try many times.More

This was a good typical Neapolitan restaurant with a good pizza. Forget. Staff is scarce in number and not too kind, the layout is the same of 1990 (and that must have been the last time walls were painted)... I do not define this a...tourist trap because prices are in line with what you get, but the experience is missable. It's a pity as this was a fantastic destination.More

Ciro A Santa Brigida is a decadent place where the tables are not cleaned. The window need a deep cleaning. It takes 3/4 of an hour to have a plate of Spaghetti with Vongole Veraci not fresh and not n.3 spaghettini, as promised by the...waiter. It was Saturday and it is likely that the kitchen lack of personnel. The scaloppa alla milanese was at a level of sufficiency. The typical Neapolitan side dish "pucchiacchella" was good. Not enough to have a decent lunch. G&B Novelli, Geneva SwitzerlandMore

This review is for the Pizzeria --> After Pompeii, we took the train, and began our pizza parade. This was our fave hands down. No joke, this pizza was a lifechanger. I can’t quite put it into words, but it was simply pizza perfection. I...really wanted to order 5 more, but the pizza parade took a toll on me. Ingredients were so fresh, and you could taste that with every bite of pizza. On our next Italy trip, we will def spend more time in Naples, and cannot wait to return to Ciro. The food, the staff, the limoncello — just everything was phenomenal. I want to over-emphasize how amazing the people were, they called a cab for us (as we thought we were going to miss our train back to Sorrento). Top notch food and incredible service!More

Pizza is very good but also the fish selection was very tasty( frittura and calamari alla brace). Affordable prices and good and friendly service.

While the menu is intriguing, this venue was a disappointment. Lots of staff walking around without really focusing on the customer. It took 15 minutes to let us know they didn't have the wine we ordered. Substitution. The caprese was the worst we've ever had...with unripe tomatoe slices and very, very chewy motzarella. We think it was old. It took forever to get dinner. The owner walked around criticizing the staff but he never helped. We stopped in for a quick dinner that ended up taking over two hours. Several people came and left without eating while we were there. They were the smart ones.More
