Discovered by chance, visited again and again. Price-performance ratio is far above the level of all restaurants in the historic district. The "Fritto di Terra", all types of pasta, the fish, the Parmigiana Melanzane were perfect and the service very attentive

Every time we are in Naples, we also stop by 'Ntretella. I'm really happy that Rino and Marina maintain the quality. It is important to highlight that some of the waiters in the team have been there for 10 or 15 years, which is reflected in the waiter's attitude towards the customer. He is friendly, yet professional and consultative, without forcing the food. My wife and I usually visit 'Ntretella alone. This time there were seven of us. So as not to each order their own dish, we asked the waiter to bring what he thought was suitable in terms of taste and quantity. The friends who were with us were so excited. They extended their stop in Naples by a day just so they could visit the restaurant one more time.

We went on Christmas Eve, it was suggested to us. Reading the previous reviews (which I believe to be true) I admit that I feel a little perplexed. The menu, although not explicitly stated, was considerably limited and the pizzas were in fact very expensive (the margherita was over ten euros).
We had a first course of scialatielli with seafood and a pizza with broccoli and sausage. The pasta was a little too al dente and the pizza wasn't very big. Not bad despite this, although nothing special, apart from the enthusiasm of eating typical local products.
I think I would only go back away from holidays.

Disappointment... The dish we asked for wasn't there, if I'm not mistaken a mixed fry or something similar. The waiter alternatively only offered calamari except that for 5 calamari on a cross the price was like double. Delicious pasta, but very small portions, it seemed like a joke. Salty bill for really small portions.

Not Recommendation. Online comes out as the best pizzeria in Spanish neighborhoods........3 out of 4 pizzas were raw, received after a long wait time. Distrustful staff: Once communicated that the pizza was raw to the waiter, the Owner acted as if nothing had happened.....The raw pizzas were not taken off the total bill.

I often return to Naples to enjoy the beauty and above all the flavors of Neapolitan cuisine. When I want a real Neapolitan pizza, among other things at very honest prices, I stop by this typical restaurant because I know it never goes wrong. In fact… I recommend it to everyone!

At first, I was thinking of going to a certain famous restaurant, but when I consulted with a local guide, he recommended, "Only tourists go to places like that! Go here!"
It was my first time eating pizza in Naples, and I was shocked, thinking, "What did I think I was eating until now as pizza?!" I ordered a margherita with buffalo mozzarella. On the menu, if you choose buffalo mozzarella, it is served with fresh tomato sauce, but the waiter asked me, "Which do you prefer, canned tomatoes or fresh?" So I asked him which one he recommended and chose canned tomatoes.
In other words, it's a secret menu that is not listed on the menu. It's nice to be able to find out things like this.
Personally, I like pizza with a crispy thin crust, and I've heard that the crust in Naples is thick, so I thought, "Well, it might be delicious, but I might not like it," but the crust was lighter than I expected. And the refreshingly sour tomato sauce matched perfectly with the lightness of the crust. It was delicious. It was completely different from what I had imagined. All this deliciousness for only 7 euros! It's great to eat it in the original place.
The seafood fritters were also delicious.

We specifically went to this pizzeria attracted by the reviews and we weren't wrong. Of course, the place is not the most convenient to reach and the sloping tables do not guarantee stability of plates and glasses but the pizza is very good and the atmosphere is very Neapolitan. I appreciated that they accommodated our request to be close to the fan (it's incredibly hot these days) even though we were close to our neighbor at the table. In short, if you want an aseptic and formal environment this place is not for you but if you want a good pizza at a good price in a homemade environment then you shouldn't miss it.

Recommended by a Neapolitan girl as a place to eat well: so it was!!!
We didn't eat pizza even though they were beautiful and fragrant.
We had delicious PASTA, POTATOES AND PROVOLA, off the menu tagliolini with cuttlefish and as an appetizer fried fish and Neapolitan fried fish.
We returned a second time taking the same appetizers and as well as pasta, potatoes and provola, packages with cod and gnocchi (not potato but semolina) with seafood: super!!!!

We happened to be wandering around the Spanish neighborhoods after visiting Pizzofalcone, we asked if a table was available and despite reservations and a bit of a queue, within 10 minutes we were already seated and ordering.
Very good food and excellent pizzas.
Very kind service.
I've been back several times and I recommend it every time I'm asked: where can I eat in the Spanish Quarter?

Very touristy place in the streets of the Spanish quarters with a very varied menu. The fried foods are good but cheap, the pizza obviously good. I tried the mussels but they had too strong a flavour; Having pointed this out to the waiter, he replies with the classic phrase "they are very fresh!"...ok, we believe it but don't eat it and take it into account anyway. Good but not great.

We discovered what has now become "our inn" by pure chance by asking a passer-by, they immediately made us feel at home and experience the true Neapolitan essence. Excellent raw materials and excellent value for money.
The ziti alla Genovese is highly recommended, (we went there twice in 3 days) try them. When we get to Naples it will be a fixed stop

When looking for a pizzeria with gluten-free pizza, we came across Ntretella.
We were served in a very friendly and courteous manner and were also given advice on choosing the pizza.
My gluten-free Nanni was the best gluten-free pizza I have ever eaten!
The price/performance ratio is still unbeatable.
It was also very pleasant that the pizzeria is located in a side street of the old town, so that you could eat in peace.
We will definitely recommend the pizzeria.

I was in this pizzeria 08/12/23, really disappointing
As a good Neapolitan, I have never had a worse pizza than this
I wonder how it is possible to present a pizza that was a piadina and justify yourself by saying that the dough was cold
When you know you have finished the raw material you make a better impression by saying it without presenting a truly inedible pizza
It's a real shame to review a pizzeria in the heart of Naples like this

‘Ntrella is a fantastic little pizza restaurant tucked away on a side street off the beaten track in the Spanish quarter. The setting is very beautiful with only a few tables and lovely fairy lights lighting the street from above. There was a good mix of locals and tourists enjoying the food and atmosphere. The staff were very funny and attentive, despite being very busy. For starters, I had the local deep-fried sardines which was stunning. We also ordered the deep-fried butternut squash flowers which are equally beautiful. For mains, we both had pizza and it was some of the best that we have had during our time in Naples. The food was ridiculously well priced for what it was, as was the wine. 1 L for €9!!! Highly recommend for an affordable and delicious authentic local meal, I will go back next time I’m in the Spanish quarter.
