We dined at this lovely, recommended, off the beaten path (no ocean view) spot on a beautiful fall day last weekend. With the summer season ending, and Covid, we were the only diners at 1pm on a Sunday and enjoyed having the place to ourselves....There were 2 waiters taking excellent care of us and one spoke very good English. We perused the informational menu and ordered a lovely, organic white wine (I don't usually love Italian whites but this was extra yummy!). The tomato mozzerella caprese salad was one of the best we have ever eaten, anywhere (it was Capri after all!). Tomatoes were obviously grown fresh on the island, never refrigerated, picked at perfect ripeness, and the mozzerella, made in house I believe, was amazing. My husband ordered a fresh fish with grilled eggplant and zucchini and I had some salt and peppered shrimp (I do wish they would take off the shells in Europe!) and both were tasty. We were too full to order dessert but the waiters brought us a very tasty lemon almond cake slice topped with powdered sugar that was a delicate perfection! Sad we didn't get to meet the owners but we will be back again! Highly recommend this restaurant for some of the freshest, tastiest, true farm/ocean to table dining you will ever experience!More
