Spent the day on Capri and looking for somewhere for lunch. Looked a nice restaurant in an alleyway. Didn’t see a menu but asked for a table for two. It was a very expensive menu and wine menu. Waiter was very curt and made us...feel like we didn’t belong there. Food was nice but nothing special for the price. I’m not surprised to see other negative reviews on here. Service charge is added to the bill but perhaps if it wasn’t then the service may be much better.More
We arrived for our 8:30pm reservation that our platinum concierge had made earlier in the day. Upon arrival the waitress was abrupt and tried to seat us at a table that we hadn’t booked. I wouldn’t mind if the restaurant was busy but there were...3 tables occupied in a very quiet Capri. She said she needed to wait for a colleague and left us standing outside for 15 minutes whilst seating another party.
We left and went to another place. Service is non existent here.More
As a positive, the food was nothing our of this world but fairly good. The starter (squid) was well cooked, tender and melting in the mouth. The pasta vongole was perfect al dente with well-balanced tastes, and the sea bass was, if a touch too...dry, all-in-all a pleasant dish. So, two green dots for the food!
What was terrible, though, was the service. Unpleasant and uninterested waiters that take you for granted, absolutely no personal interaction, taking off plates from the table before everyone is finished, having to ask repeatedly for the same thing and then being hurried, never being served your bottle of spumante. Which is as such not great, but hey, worse things have happened in life. But then you get a bill with an automatic 15% service charge that is absolutely non-negotiable. So, no green dots for the service.
I would not recommend this place.More
On arrival, met by very gruff woman who showed us to a table, right at the very back of the restaurant, clearly too small for 4 people. Service was slow and unfriendly. We felt we were a commodity on a production line. At the (inflated)...prices they charge they should make more effort. The food was good - but overall the experience was very poor. Avoid Aurora, and done let the celebrity photos draw you in!More
Our hotel recommended this restaurant, and we asked the hotel to book us a table for four at 8pm on the terrace. We arrived at the completely empty restaurant, to be given a surly and unwelcoming reception. We were shown to a table in a...lean-to tent at the rear overlooking a concrete flat roof and wall. We were not prepared to sit here, and eventually and with a minimum of grace we were shown to a table on the empty terrace at the front. The food was fine but we were not inclined to stay beyond one course. A good restaurant is not just about food, it is about ambience and ‘feel’. The front wall is plastered with photographs of ‘celebrities’ who have eaten here - not sure who they think that impresses, but not us. Oh, and they add 15% service to the bill.More
I ve been few days ago in this place, everything was lovely, food, wine, location. The pizza is so good, so light and tasty and I also ordered pezzogna which it was amazing!!!! A quite full choices of wines.. The only bad thing we were...waiting a bit outside since someone came to us and asked about our reservation. And also a waiter started to cleaned the plates while we were still eating. However I will be back and I suggest this place!!!More

I would say everything in Capri is on the high price side. 50 - 60 Euro per head sounds right. I've been to this place few time over the past few years. Don't recall any drastic change in the menu. Though I must say they have a quite rich menu. Hope this is helpful.
