The best sunset bar in Sorrento! Forget about Hotel Bellevue Syrene … great staff, great drinks, free snacks and also pizza bites we received with no questions asked.. love it! Will come again soon to see a beautiful sunset in a great place

We have returned for more drinks as we found the staff friendly and the prices were very reasonable considering it’s position. I just returned from a 6 week stay in Sorrento. This bar/restaurant was my go to place. The location is perfect! Located in the Villa Comunale, next to the lift, it offers unparalleled views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Patrons can also...see many happy wedding parties snapping photos and tourists smiling and enjoying the view. There are a number of tables to sit and enjoy a cocktail, a gelato, or a light meal. The service is casual and just like it is in all Italian restaurants, you are not rushed. Another draw are the great waiters and waitresses, especially Gianandrea. He was engaged, polite and clearly liked his job. I highly recommend laVilla!More

Quite OK, nothing special about it, view is good and drinks are OK, service is fine. Good place to have a rest (elevator to the beach is right next to it)

Super elevated location with great views over the bay. Limited menu but that was fine for us. We had the Caesar salad and the Aubergine parmigiano , both a decent size and great taste, just one small negative and that is the chicken on the...salad was very very dry but other than that all ok.More

This is small outdoor bar at the front of Sorrento over looking the bay of Naples, the main steps to the main Lidos are beside it and a viewing area to watch the sun go down so a prime location to rob the tourist and...they do that. My wife and I stopped for a drink and the smiling waiter asks would you like a drink sir a gin and tonic and a beer please no menu no prices to be found,big mistake. He arrives down with very large beer as seen at a beer festival about 2 litre and G&T told him too big,he left it and walked off remarking I had asked for it I asked for a smaller glass he give me a small tumbler for a child’s lemonade no reasoning with arrogant person so decanted beer into glass drink it and asked for bill. Here we go said my wife and we weren’t disappointed 27euro! SO MY ADVICE IS DO NOT VISIT THIS BAR WALK PAST AS MOST OF THE OTHER BARS CAFES SO NOT TREAT TOURISTS THIS WAYMore

We stopped here for an afternoon tipple to admire the stunning views on offer! Mt Vesuvius to the right, the Bay of Naples straight ahead and the end of Naples just to the left. Absolutely stunning! Sitting out in the fresh ocean air on a...sunny winters day was so enjoyable, we could have happily spent hours more here.More

Staff are pleasant enough and the view is lovely, but the manager - the bald guy is just a horrible!

Seats are uncomfortable and the staff couldn’t be more disrespectful and rude. I asked the man for the wifi password and he had no sort of facial expression and spoke in a ridiculously monotone voice. Even though the scenery makes up for it looking over...at the sea/beach, the large number of pigeons didn’t. So many were flying over our table and flying about whilst other customers were stomping next to it and feeding them; which i couldn’t quite comprehend why they would do that? Drinks are satisfactory even though the price isn’t We won’t be coming here again i’m afraidMore

This spot has spectacular views over Sorrento harbour. They definitely have the spot to enjoy what Sorrento has and whike it was busy it wasnt crazy and over run so a nice spot to just relax and enjoy. The service was friendly and prompt.

Stopped here for a drink and nibbles, wow what a view to enjoy with your drink. Staff were friendly and they were extremely busy, drinks and nibbles arrived quickly. We didn’t eat here however the food being served to nearby tables looked yummy Toilets next...door are free however attendant was on the door clearly expecting a tip.More

A horrible place run and operated by very rude staff. Food options are average. They shouted at us for sitting down at the table, when we had bought 20 euros worth of Gelato and snacks. While there were people sitting down with just a glass...of espresso. We were planning to sit down to eat lunch, we decided to go elsewhere. They lost over 150 Euros of business. Fools don't have any concept of customer service. Avoid this place.More
