Our tour group went for dinner to RIstorante Pizzeria Tasso on the last evening. It was a disappointment. It's a large restaurant with terrible acoustics. The first course of pasta tasted nice, but was not consistently warmed through. The chicken main course tasted more like...a canteen dish. There are better choices in Sorrento than Tasso.More

We had a fantastic meal in here. The food, service and setting was all excellent. I highly recommend the Ragu, rich and delicious. Also my wife said the risotto was the best she’s ever had.

We had 2 different drivers recommend this restaurant and we’re so happy that we listened! Marco was our waiter and the level of customer experience was out of this world. The chef was extremely accommodating to what we wanted. They get fresh seafood in every...morning I asked if they had lobster and luckily for me they had gotten 1 lobster that morning. This was one of the top 5 meals I’ve ever eaten! It was cooked to perfection. My husband loved his meal as well. They allowed me to take my leftovers to go. As an American who likes to eat early, I was thrilled that they are open all day.More

This ranks as the worst restaurant we’ve tried during our stay in Italy! If you want a place where you hear every language but Italian - this is it. Total tourist trap. Expect stale bread served with butter - that even my kids wouldn’t eat....No option for a house wine - first for us during our trip. First course was OK at best - scallop dish and octopus dishes. Our dinner included: *Gnocchi dish with clams - 4 clams, 2 weren’t cooked *Rigatoni with short ribs - short ribs were more than half fat and chewy meat *Spaghetti with raw prawns - prawns are supposed to cook by the temperature of the noodles. Except noodles came our warm temp and prawns may or may not have been done by end of meal. *Paccheri with artichokes, cuttlefish, and lemon - served grayish in color with no artichokes and what appeared to be cuttlefish remnants. All dishes left half eaten. When asked if meal was good and we expressed our disappointment - they just tried to shuffle us out with no effort to listen or understand concerns. Do not eat here if you are looking for a quality meal. If I could rate zero stars I would!More

We were in Sorrento recently and enjoyed an amazing dinner that was prepared fresh, well presented with impeccable service. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our driver. Since we had just arrived to the town we knew very little about where to dine. We decided to go with his advice. What a mistake. From the moment we entered the restaurant our eyes were...drawn to the glass cabinetry lining the entryway. Several ceramic donkeys in various explicitly sexual positions were visible. Combined with the extremely marginal food and steep prices this is not the place to enjoy an evening of fine dining or to bring your children. We left feeling like asses!More

We ate dinner here once and would not return. The food was nothing special for the price paid. We ate much better food at other restaurants in Sorrento.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Risotto and pasta are delicious. Lovely lemon dessert and excellent wine list.

Our hotel recommended Tasso and it didn’t disappoint! Excellent service and tasty food. So good we returned on our last night in Sorrento. We began with the Dica Duca drink ( not sure of the spelling), it’s light and refreshing. Bread was served with a...side of butter and tomato sauce. Wait staff served olive oil on request. They gave us plenty of time to review the menu. We shared the grilled vegetable savory tart. It was delicious. I had the scallops from the starter menu as my meal, it was sooo good! Husband had the spaghetti with shrimp. We ended our meal with Lemon Delight and Pie with almond cream, salted caramel and banana both were excellent followed by shots of Limnoncello . The staff at Tasso worked together as a team ensuring our food was delivered to our table in a timely manner. It was a very busy Saturday night. We never felt rushed.More

We stopped to eat by chance and glad we did. It was very tasty, comfortable and friendly. it was reasonable for Sorrento these days. We would recommend it. BTW, its down a side street so keep an eye out.
