We came here at start of September after reading the reviews before coming on holiday. Not easy to find granted but worth the hunt. We were taken outside as it was a lovely Nyt, we asked to sit in one of the caves which was no problem to the owner. Complimentary prosecco on arrival as well as a couple of... More

Went here on basis of recommendation and to book a table for a Birthday meal. It takes some finding up an alleyway. As you enter the entrance it opens out to a raised glass atrium which is completely empty apart from a bar on one side - it looked closed by a waiter spotted us and beckoned us in. There... More

We stopped by earlier in the day to ask for a seat in one of the aqueduct tables. The owner was very accommodating. Food was superb and ambiance and experience amazing. Should not be missed

Recommend a reservation to get the best tables under the ancient aqueduct. Owner is jovial, friendly, and welcoming. Nice service and great food. The guitar player was so personable and sought to make each diner's experience special. A bit hard to find but highly recommended. Convenient location off the main piazza.

We visited this restaurant the night before our last evening to book a table for the following night. A member of staff took us out into the beautiful garden to choose our own seats. Upon arrival we were shown to our seats and presented with a complimentary glass of Prosecco (plus mosquito spray was also left at our table). The... More

We visited here for dinner and arrive early expecting it to be busy. It wasn't, there was only one other couple there and this may be due to its location which is really very tucked away. We asked to sit outside however due to some rain they were only serving inside which was fine. The owner offered some complimentary sparkling... More

After reading other reviews, we booked ahead to dine under one of the arches and Mario made sure we were well looked after. Yes, it is a little difficult to find but don't let that put you off. Once you get out to the garden it's all worth it. We went with Marios recommendations which were fantastic. The courgette flowers... More

My wife and I ate here based on a the recommendation of some close friends of ours who raved about it. Called ahead to get reservations 1 day before -- requested to sit under the arch. Had trouble finding the place, but as everyone said, look on the small street parallel to corso Italia called Santa Maria Della pieta-- keep... More

Our family, eight of us, were touring Italy, and this was our first night in Sorrento. Going to I Giardini di Tasso is not just a meal, it's an experience!!!. We entered from a set of stairs off the street, were ushered through the restaurant and lovely garden, and seated in an ancient aquaduct! We were greeted by the owner,... More

This is a unique experience not to be missed when you visit Sorrento. The food is excellent, especially the pasta and ravioli. Most of us had two pasta courses and also frittura mista and the lamb. The white profiteroles are divine! The location makes it very special- an olive and lemon grove tucked behind the Sorrento streets. You either sit... More
