Myself, my mother and my family visited this excellent restaurant back at the end of August
It was our last night in Sorrento before returning to the UK so we wanted an extra special evening. Refood did not disappoint.
The food was superb and the wine list was the best I have ever seen in any restaurant anywhere I’ve ever been. After a chat about Italian wine I was invited into the cellar to view the wines by our waiter. I bought a local wine (Taurasi DOCG reserva 2012) take home, recommended by our waiter. It was probably the finest wine that I had experienced over our whole holiday. This is no surprise considering his extensive knowledge of wine and his ability to advise something perfect for me after a short conversation on the subject
The food was amazing, especially the chateaubriand, which was cooked to perfection and complimented by a beautiful Valpolicella repasso that had been decantered for me
This establishment is probably the best in all of Sorrento. Highly recommended

This was an amazing find, we first had dinner here before seeing the Three Tenors and found out they had a wine cellar, the owner took us down on request to view his private collection and later booked to come back and have an evening dining in the cellar just the two of us. When we came back on our last night to eat in the cellar we we were treated as if we were the only ones in the restaurant, the owner and his son spent all evening waiting on us and chatting about their family run business and how they also produce olive oil. The wine was amazing and food was great, we even had a taste of a 40 year old brandy which was his grandfathers and the last one he had remaining. It was an amazing evening and would highly recommend anyone who wants a romantic touch to their visit to Italy to spend an evening dinning in the cellar. The son's fiancé even came in to the restaurant and put her personal touches to the table to make it even more special.

We came here 30 minutes before closing and everyone there was so gracious and happy to have us.
Ambiance - The restaurant was nice and big. The decor reminded me of fine dining.
Food - The food was excellent and so fresh. I got their bruschetta salad and it was so good. They had so many different local tomatoes and vegetables in it. It was as beautiful as it tasted. Their olive oil was local Sorrento oil and it tasted so good! The bread was fresh and perfectly soft. My husband got their pasta and he said it tasted really good and the sauce was well seasoned and pasta perfectly cooked.
We got 2 desserts to share as a table and they were both perfect. They were beautifully presented and not too sweet.
Service - I LOVED the staff. Everyone here was so friendly and quick to attention. They gave recommendations and were patient with our group. The staff was also funny and I always love that.

Went here for some dinner last night with the wife and we ordered a pizza and a calzona... both were decent sizes to be fair but my pepperoni pizza was badly burnt on one side and cooked perfectly on the other, the half that wasn't like charcoal was nice... just a shame I couldn't eat it all.
The wife's calzona was cooked fine but lacked flavour and when she picked the slice up a trail of oil and grease trickled out which put us off.
Decided to get dessert around the corner as everyone was staring at us, waiting on staff, receptionist and a couple who was sat right next to us when the rest of the restaurant was empty.
The real icing on the cake was when we paid the bill and didn't leave a tip, the waiter muttered something in Italian to us and shook his head before walking off.

We were there for the set menu on christmas day. The service was slow for the drinks, we had to ask three times for our bottle of wine. We were one of the first there for the 1230 sitting and with it being a set menu the service should not have been as confusing and slow.
The worst dish was boar cheek that had been over cooked and we both couldn’t eat it. The dulce / desert was nice
and the best dish but my wife immediately spotted a hair in her dish and told the waiter. He apologised and went to get another one, it never came, so she never got to have her desert.
We were disappointed as it wasn’t a cheap set menu and there were other options to go to. I would not go here again.

VERY disappointed. Vaulted dining room could be nice if not for 80's yellow lighting and Venice (!) Paintings . Average food but above average prices, Tiramisu looking like an Oreo, service making you feel like you are not a customer and simply a payer instead. Toilets without soap at 9pm. Tourist trap in the middle of a touristic street. We didn't understand where the positive reviews came from.

What started in promising fashion, ended in perhaps the worst seafood I've had in a long time. We were drawn to this taverna style restaurant as we were keen to have authentic, non-pizza or pasta food. The welcome was decent, if a little inattentive. There was no one else in the restaurant and yet it took a considerable time to bring some cheese and cured meats antipasti. These were fine but underwhelming. Onto to mains and the aubergine milanese was decent. The same can't be said for the mixed 'fresh fish and seafood' grill which came out either cold or cooked to a rubbery mess. I sent it back once and gave up after eating a tiny piece of fish and 2 prawns. The rest was inedible. The waiter could see our disappointment but made no effort to rectify..... Just more tourist mugs in this chaotic seaside town.

We reserved a table for 8:00pm which was a welcome blessing since a lot of restaurants in Sorrento do not accept reservations. The ambience in the restaurant was calming and pleasant after the frenetic pace of Marina Grande.
We had Mussels for starter followed by Seafood Risotto and The Classic Trio (Cannelloni, Lasagne & Gnocchi). The pace of service was just right and it felt like we were being dined at our leisure not simply rushed through as a commodity.
The quality of the food was high and we enjoyed a Limoncello as a digestif.
We would definitely return.

These are still some of the best fish pasta dishes in Sorrento- so flavoursome and utterly delicious. We followed this with a huge platter of grilled fish (which they kindly lightly fried for us) and salad.
The menu is extensive (not sure why a tasting menu is only shown on the website..?) - service is attentive and the whole experience is professional, yet relaxed, leaving you content and full up!
Not to be missed! We will return!

I never ever leave reviews but I felt I had to because this place was the most unreal restaurant I have ever been to. Not only is the location amazing, the food is incredible and fresh from the owners local farm. But the main attraction here, and the reason this restaurant is so special, is because of the staff. Alessandro and his father (who own the restaurant) took so much time to choose a wine from us, tell us where it was from and how it was made. Then when we got our food they told us stories of where the recipes came from. The attention to detail and the customer service were second to none. I have never experienced anything like it. They made our holiday and everyone should come here. The best restaurant I have ever been to.

Hard to find words to describe how much we liked it. Food was absolutely amazing, grown and arranged on the family farm.staff were so friendly and talkative it made this the best dinning experience of our week long tour.

We found this great restaurant just steps from our accommodations. They have a nice menu but we asked them to suggest something for the 2 of us to share. After asking us about what food we liked they brought out a seafood and pasta dish (I don’t remember the name of the dish). It was fantastic! Service was great, decor is wonderful, wine (again their recommendation) was perfect for the dish, and overall a delightful dining experience.

We had a great dinner, got there around 7:30 and got a table outside on the street to soak up the atmosphere. The waiters were friendly and very helpful, including helping us choose a perfect bottle of wine from the region. Food was delicious, 2 courses & wine was around 100 euros which was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Many restaurants are closed in Sorrento in February but we stumbled upon this restaurant down a side street. The dining space is comfortable and tastefully decorated and the staff were welcoming. The menu was varied and appealing and we enjoyed everything we ate (including meat, fish and pasta dishes). The food was tasty and elegantly presented and the service friendly and efficient, we enjoyed the local wine recommendations too! For the quality of food and wine this was good value for money and we would recommend.

This place is so good, we did it twice in the week we were in Sorrento.
Lovely restaurant with very good service and food.
It's worth mentioning that the centre of Sorrento is very touristy (seems obvious to say it, but I'd say almost exclusively tourists). As a result, most restaurants are kept very busy and work on a high turnover of tables. It's a relief to then find a place like (Re)Food where they don't work like this. Service is discrete, isn't rushed and the feeling is of a lovely, relaxed atmosphre in which to enjoy a nice meal. Even little things, like well spaced tables just add to the enjoyment.
The menu had a good selection, catered well for my gluten-free partner and it came up very well cooked. Oh yes, and as for the wine - just great value, very good selection of local wines! Worth mentioning again the gluten-free food, as she had the pasta (and she really enjoyed it) and we were told it was freshly made, to order, which is fantastic.
