We were staying at Villa Carolina Country House and we decided to have our anniversary dinner at Ruccio, on of the owner's family restaurant. It came highly recommended and we were not dissapointed. The service, the food (freshest seafood Iever had), the setting, everything was perfect. Plus, they have a gelateria in the front of the restaurant wich is simply... More

We stopped in Sorrento for a few hours today and whilst trying to find the beach, found ourselves in the port area by accident, and wandered into Ruccio for lunch. Based on our experience after 4 nights in Rome with very mediocre food, we were really surprised by this restaurant. The food was delicious. My wife's cannelloni Napoli sauce was... More

We were welcomed to our table by 2 glasses of complimentary prosecco and welcoming staff. We were recommended this restaurant by the place we were staying and we weren't disappointed. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly and the food very tasty and filling. The location for an evening meal is lovely as its quiet down on the port,... More

Absolutely terrible. Rude staff, stale bread, 2.5euro coperto per person, and servings are tiny. Don't waist your time particularly as the staff are so arrogant! And there were 11 of us and you would think the staff would pay a little more attention. 27 euro for service! A disgrace

We went here out first day in Sorrento for lunch, our party was 6 adults and 1 baby, service was brill, food was lovely and fresh and the cocktails nice too, we returned a couple of days later for dinner which was equally as good with complimentary prosecco on arrival and limoncello before we left and we also booked the... We stopped here for a quick snack while waiting for the ferry to Capri. It was truly the worst bruschetta I had ever been served. One piece of dry toast, dried, not fresh oregano, the tomatoes were nice and 2 tiny pieces of mozzarella and ONE basil leaf! When I complained, the waiter actually laughed when I asked for additional... More

We had an evening meal here and also a coffee on another day and both times the service was slow, and the waiters are not friendly at all! The food we had at the evening meal was so horrible and expensive I had to eat somewhere else on the way back to the hotel! On the visit for a quick... More

Had drinks and snacks a couple of times here. Lovely by the water catching the breeze. Service friendly and food we had ok. Wifi available and toilets ok. Great spot to while away the time.

Expected a bit of a rip-off here, as it is right on the sea-front and the front of house staff are a bit pushy (but not as pushy as the cafe next door who really put us off!). The food turned out to be very good, especially the grilled prawns and the salads. Prices slightly higher than in the town... More
