Great home style cooking. Fresh ingredients and home made pastas makes for unforgettable night out in Sorrento. It’s a short 8-10 min walk from the main town center right along Corso Italia- definitely worth exploring. Home made Scialatiella and Gnocchi were awesome - right mixture...of chewy and creamy texture - perfect with the Sorrento sauce. Wish I had more stomach for it. The mixed shellfish sauté was ocean fresh and seasoned perfect. Would highly recommend this place if you are ever in SorrentoMore

We ordered the croquettes which were amazingly cooked! The mash inside was just in perfect harmony with the entire dish! The Spaghetti Carbonara was sooo good! The sauce in it was just out of this world, specially for a restaurant! Then as main we also...had ordered Chef Carmén’s famous meatballs! They were 2 huge(almost tennis ball each)! And omg, it just melted in your mouth as you bite them! The sauce was nothing less than perfection, you could taste the herbs used to harmonise it all together along with the tomato sauce, all clearly homemade! The Spaghetti with tomato and mozzarella etc was amazing! The cheese was melted to perfection! IMPORTANT: We did make a mistake of having some bites hours before arriving… Do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT! The portion sizes are monstrous and therefore we just couldn’t eat it anymore which was my biggest regret while visiting Italy for 5 days…it felt nothing less than a crime and insulting to anyone that still hasn’t had the chance to try this restaurants food! Service wise, we had arrived while the restaurant was busy (seems like always), but we only had to wait a little bit before being sat down, then straightaway got the usual offers when sat down (bread, water and etc). The menu is humble in size, yet, felt very “real and homemade” with the options on it (mind I remind that we also had a “Special of the day” menu). The food was served very quick in consideration to how busy the restaurant was as well! The vibe of the restaurant is as expected from other reviews; homie and with a great sense of hospitality! With past customer’s writings on every wall as a way to show appreciation for the food and service :) Also as we were enjoying our dinner and the atmosphere, we ended up being the very last people to leave the restaurant and had a chance to thank chef Carmén and all the staff for the marvellous food and service! Very friendly! So to sum it up, if you’re within the area of Amalfi Bay, Naples etc… do make arrangements to check out this amazing restaurant, its worth the detours even if it takes 1-2hrs to get there as within the last 5 days it was the best restaurant we experienced in Italy, even after staying and eating at Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria and some of the hidden gems in Rome. Will definitely visit again given the chance to be in the South of Italy!More

The codfish and potatoes ravioli was unique and delicious. Our party of five all enjoyed our dishes. The price offered good value and we could see Chef Carmen at work in the kitchen. It was a very friendly place.

Great quality and value for money! Really large portions. We came here twice during our stay in Sorrento cuz the place is ideal for lunch and dinner! It’s absolutely the best place in town, excellent quality and delicious food for a reasonable price.

Had travelled over to Naples for a few days and done day trip to Sorrento. We made our way despite thunder, lightning and biblical rain incoming, as had read the great reviews on TripAdvisor. Really easy to find, straight out of railway station to the...main road and a very short walk to the right past the petrol station. Well what can we say, absolutely incredible.. Lovely place, amazing friendly service and amazing Italian food. Amazing value as well. Was worth the train to Sorrento alone for this experience. Grazie, Grazie, grazie!More

The first time we visited this restaurant we knew we would be back. The food, atmosphere, and service was immaculate. Chef Carmen’s food is delicious, the meatballs, lemon chicken, risotto, spicy spaghetti, caprese ravioli, and scialatielli sorrento style were a few honorable mentions. I know...if i am back in sorrento, I will be visiting chef Carmen again. She was very accommodating and responsive as well and helped us throughout our trip. 1000% recommend.More

Fantastic! Beautifully crafted food, mindful of balanced, rich flavors. Warm and comforting service. In my mothers words “fabulous from beginning to end, gracious and attentive - thanks Franco!…” “…we especially enjoyed Carmen coming to our table and explaining where she got her inspiration for her...food, her passion was contagious.”More

If you are exploring old town Sorrento and stop walking down Corso Italia when the shops end, keep going! Just past the shops when you think you’re fully in the residential part is some of the best homemade pasta I’ve had in Sorrento. It’s less...than a 10 minute walk from Piazza Tasso heading east. The atmosphere is fun and cozy, the food is fantastic, and the service is top notch. We are definitely coming back. Thanks for the great meal!More

We had the opportunity to do one of Carmen‘s classes while we were vacationing with Go Get Lost Tours. There were 17 of us! I’ve never had so much fun cooking in my life! Carmen is a gem, and the experience is beyond what I...expected. We danced. We laughed we drank, we ate! I even got up and danced on the chair! What a great experience, don’t hesitate, just do it!More

Delicious food, served quickly, in pleasant surroundings. We had to wait around 30 mins for a table, which was ok, and once we were seated the food came quickly. I had the special ravioli with cod fish, which was lovely and fresh, but I must...say I couldn't really taste the fish over the puttanesca sauce. My wife had traditional ravioli which she enjoyed. The tiramisu was also delicious, and the local wine good tooMore
