Good experience overall. Had a great appetizer, the seafood shepherd I think it was called. Great squid and the pea dish was great. My mains were okay. My swordfish was a bit tough but the flavour was good.

All fresh seafood that came out of the sea that day. The octopus salad was unbelievably tender served at the perfect temperature. The seafood pasta was divine. The courtyard is located below street level and has outdoor seating, which is both quaint and quiet. A memorable experience.
We had a delicious meal in this restaurant that seems to cater to local clientele. The food was terrific and reasonably priced. The owner was friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Highly recommended.
Had a really unexpectedly delicious lunch. Fresh ingredients, well served and finely cooked. Top quality fish, reasonable priced. Not in the cheap range but worth the extra 10 euro per head for freshness, style and quiet relaxing (traffic-free) patio! Delicate flavour from start to finish. Will definitely be going back now we live so close :-)
We had dinner at the Osteria and we will definitely return when again in Salerno. The host was great in providing very satisfying and honest suggestions for food and drinks. The service was spot on and the food was a delight, from appetizer to dessert and coffee. The setting of the restaurant is pleasant rustic, and what I would imagine... More
We enjoyed our meal and service. The owner made suggestions for our meal - which we agreed to. Everything was very tasty - but a lot. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert. The crowd all seemed like locals on a Sunday afternoon. Very enjoyable meal.
we went for a diner on october 24th. As we had been driving from San Giovanni d'Asso, about 720 km away we were looking for a restaurant near by our b&b, Dimora Salernum on the via indipendenza. On trip advisor we saw the review of this restaurant witch looked OK and the most important for us, it was just around... More
We just had a wonderful lunch here today: never looked at the menu, just let the owner tell us what he recommended, all three of us were very happy with his suggestions. Shall definitely go back.
This restaurant was recommended by our host, Vincenzo, from Barone B&B. It was so good, we dined there twice during our week long stay in Salerno. Antonio, the owner/chef, specializes in home-made pastas and, of course, locally-caught seafood. Three of us dined and ordered the mixed seafood antipasto platter, two pasta dishes, one main seafood dish and two desserts--including the... More
