We stumbled across this gem for a casual but very tasty dinner. We had a very filling meal of bread (with amazing olive oil), soup, baked pasta, vegetables, cheeses (that came with lovely sauces), and a meat assortment. The food was superb. We also enjoyed two very nice bottles of wine, plus water, 3 people for only 92 euro. Amazing... More

This salameria has a small restaurant associated. They serve mainly cold but also some warm food of excellent quality. Also the wine is great. All organic. Staff was very open and friendly.

Great little deli/restaurant. We felt we had a real treat of a meal as the owner explained the history behind what we were eating. Don't order mozzarella as we did as we got a HUGE portion which was costly (I think a little naughty on their part). Great atmosphere and strong cheeses summed up the night.

Fantastic food and wine, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Pick what you prefer from the selection of cheeses, meats, and other goodies, as well as a bottle of wine (not sold by the glass) and enjoy. Otherwise, let Pino present you with this favourite selections. Truly authentic and unique.

On a quiet street behind Salerno's Duomo you'll find Botteghelle 65 and its welcoming owner Pino Adinolfi. I am lucky enough to have cousins who introduced me to this place as it is the kind of restaurant one dreams of finding in Italy but could easily be missed by someone just passing through. At the entrance is a salumeria where... More

Ate here with my partner. Had a couple of pasta pizza slices, very tasty. Then had a platter of local cheeses and meats. The owner explained what they were and where they were from. Exellent fare. Served with some local honey and olive oil. Had a nice glass of Aglianico to go with it. Recommended.

Tucked away in the old part of town, near the Duomo, this salumeria offers a unmatched culinary exploration of the region. This is not a traditional sit-down restaurant, rather a deli style counter where you order the food and are seated in the adjacent room. We let the host Pino offer platters selection of organic sausages, hams, olives, artichokes, sheep... More

We tracked down Botteghelle 65 on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews, on a day trip to Salerno. Glad we did. We were the only lunchtime diners and the owner was careful and patient in explaining the ethos of his restaurant and the sourcing of his (all local) products. We left ourselves in his hands and enjoyed a wonderful platter of... More

Visited here around 09.30pm on a Saturday following a recommendation from a friend from Salerno. If local food and food traditions are your thing, then this place is a must. A treasure trove of regional wines, cheeses, salamis and hams, with a deli-style counter in the shop part, and restaurant seating right next door. We chose a bottle of wine... More

Description
Our historic Delicatessen was founded in Salerno by the Conte family in 1919. We specialise in the highest-quality, local and regional delicacies, with particular emphasis on Slow-Food and Organic products. We have a wide range of local wines from small-scale producers, which offer excellent value for money, as well as some of our favourite regional and national wines. Our range changes each month and according to the seasons.

We sell local pickles and preserves, as well as vegetables, locally produced honey and artisan conserves. Our mozzarella is delivered to us fresh every day and is among the best on the market. We also sell Baccala - fillets of dried Icelandic cod and a true Italian delicacy. This is available for you to prepare at home, or ready cooked from our deli counter.

You can also try our full range of cheeses and meats in our special tasting room, with its vintage 1950s Berkel slicing machine. Your choice of delicacies from our counter can be paired with a glass of wine or one of our local artisan beers, all of which we'd be delighted to advise you on, and all of our wines are available by the glass.

In order to offer the level of service we pride ourselves on, we welcome bookings. We aren't organised like a traditional restaurant - it's up to you what you choose from the deli - and of course we're always happy to advise on particular products. Wine or beer can be chosen from our display - the price is the same whether you take it away with you or drink it on the premises
