We ate here on our first night in Salerno. The staff was friendly and knew enough English to get by. I had a cheese dish, which was good, but I wish I would have tried the fish as the plates being delivered looked much better! My husband had pasta and was very pleased! They had house wine by the bottle,... More

We came here for our anniversary and loved it, the service was great, the staff were friendly and patient with us as English speakers and each course we had was fantastic. It's pricier than other places in Salerno we saw, but the quality seemed to match the amount spent. We had three courses and a bottle of wine for €65.... More

All the meals we ordered here were good. The pasta and risotto came in large portions, but the salmon was quite small, with a negligible side-dish or garnish. It took quite some time before we could order a drink and our food. The menu is very limited compared to other restaurants in Salerno, according to my experience. The temperature in... More

Lovely staff, and incredible food. Portions seem small but perhaps in taking so long savouring how good it is, it he's very filling. We also got chocolate bits (?) on the house for dessert. They accept credit card I don't think there was wifi

We have been here twice and each time it was a treat! We were given creative starters, then mouth-watering pasta with bits of fish which we shared as the portion is large. We ate with relish a fish main course - we adore fish! We shared a dessert, always delicious. The service was attentive, ambience comforting and the manager explained... More

We loved Cicirinella. It was filled with locals, a few tourists. Everything we had, including the bottle of local red wine, was awesome. We ordered a combination of seafood dishes and roasted meats, all delicious. Reasonable prices, and excellent ambiance. We even enjoyed the walk through streets of Centro Storico to reach this restaurant!

Very good food. Really excellent shared antipasti comprising four separate plates. My wife's primo was pretty good and the secondi steaks were delicious. Nice old building though subdued lighting, candles, flowers etc would have improved the ambience. A bit strange that the proprietor felt the need to run through the menu orally to each table when we subsequently found a... More

Extremely delicious food, with a regularly changing menu depending on what is available. I had the special pasta of the day, which was superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and all 4 courses which I enjoyed were excellent. The 4 courses, plus house wine came to less than 70 euros for both of us.

We made 800 reservations and were immediately accommodated by a very hard working Mario, who started us with bread and tapenade. English speakers are given an English menu and patiently accommodated by English speaking staff We shared a starter that had 4 mini works of art: a beef carpaccio with Apple; a zucchini mix in a ramekin; a fish with...
