We went to this restaurant by chance. We couldn't find another restaurant that had been recommended to us and we are so glad. Cicirinella has a wonderful authentic feel. The menu is small and local with fresh produce locally produced. The service is amazing and again feels like family owned. The place was pretty empty at 8pm but by 10pm... More

We had two pasta primi's. The pasta Scarpariello okay, but the Tubetti do Fruitti de Mare (seafood) was very good, generously full of mussels and clams. The entrecôte was tender and nicely seasoned, as was the squid which was nested in fresh thyme and cream of peas.

We went to Cicirinella based on the reviews from Tripadvisor and thank goodness we did. The staff were fantastic from the outset - passionate, friendly and honest. The mixed starter was delicious. I had the seafood spaghetti (again delicious) and my husband had an anchovy pasta which he found very tasty. The house red wine was excellent.

we had great food there on a friday night. we had no reservations and they asked us to wait for 20 minutes for a table. they gave us each a glass of wine to help with the waiting. the food was fantastic - risotto with pumpkin and a whole fish deboned and baked with potatoes. i highly recommend this restaurant

A little bit tucked away from the main streets but worth finding. Felt like we were sat in a little cave - a very nice atmospheric set up. Staff are super friendly and chatty and the food was delicious.

Landed in Salerno for a night en-route to Rome tomorrow - found Cicirinella through Trip Advisor and happy we paid heed. Small, intimate setting with passionate owner and chef team. Proprietor Luigi was kind enough to squeeze us in at 8 pm as this table was booked at 9 pm - we had an hour to taste food and wine... More

The visit at Cicirinella last night was fabulous. We had a lovely antipasta which looked and tasted great, a pasta dish rizzotto with pumpkin, fish and a beef steak. All cocked to perfection. The place is a not to miss spot in Salerno.

We returned two nights in a row to this amazing restaurant. The food is cooked based on products from the market, the wine recommendations are on spot, it was delicious and great value for money. Reservation recommended.
