The visit at Cicirinella last night was fabulous. We had a lovely antipasta which looked and tasted great, a pasta dish rizzotto with pumpkin, fish and a beef steak. All cocked to perfection. The place is a not to miss spot in Salerno.

We returned two nights in a row to this amazing restaurant. The food is cooked based on products from the market, the wine recommendations are on spot, it was delicious and great value for money. Reservation recommended.

From the moment you are greeted by the passionate, warm host you feel welcome in this cosy gem, tucked away on a side street. We were there twice for supper over the five days and observed that many locals frequent the restaurant. The owners/ chefs place great value on fresh, seasonal ingredients and are proud of their menu, which changes... More

While looking for another restaurant on the area, we decided to go to Cicirinella and was not disappointed. Everything, and I mean everything was delicious. The greeter was as passionate about the food as the chef. The experience is one of the highlights of my trip to Italy. I hope to make it back for another enjoyable meal in the... More

Waiting outside was totally worth it. Our own bad because we didn't make a reservation. Nevertheless the owner made us wait with a glass Cava. That made us happy ;)

Recommended on here and by locals, we found this to be among the worst food we ate in Salerno. Pasta with seafood was tasteless, as was kids pasta. We also had a very average steak. Service also very poor. The simple pizza joints are far better.

We had lovely steak, fish, pasta and wine. The style is updated/modernised traditional Italian cooking - focus on great quality, great taste and simplicity. Very reasonable prices, too.

We ate here on our first night in Salerno. The staff was friendly and knew enough English to get by. I had a cheese dish, which was good, but I wish I would have tried the fish as the plates being delivered looked much better! My husband had pasta and was very pleased! They had house wine by the bottle,... More

We came here for our anniversary and loved it, the service was great, the staff were friendly and patient with us as English speakers and each course we had was fantastic. It's pricier than other places in Salerno we saw, but the quality seemed to match the amount spent. We had three courses and a bottle of wine for €65.... More
