They have the greatest ice cream in Salerno. Order a brioche and they put your cream into this pastry. All sorts of ice are great, but personally I prefer strawberry and pistachio. Prepare for a wait, as it is always busy here.

Probably the best place in the area to try the brioche with gelato, and the gelato in general. They have a good selection of gelato and other desserts.

Wow! So who would've ever thought of putting these two together? Genius! We saw the queue and decided it must be worthy...and we were not disappointed! We really weren't looking for a lunch (just a snack) but with the brioche we were just stuffed. When you see a line of locals outside, you know it much be legit.

Our AirBnb host recommended we go here and I am so glad we did! A fun gelato shop with a wide variety of flavors. We were told to try the brioche gelato sandwich - it was unique and fun! The more we ate it, the more we liked it haha. The Amalfi coast is the only place I have seen... More

If you're going to Salerno that's a place not to miss! After all, you'll realise that after you see people queuing to go in. His brioche con gelato will surely make your day a better one!

We found Nettuno by accident really, attracted by the long queues of Italians. Figured it must be ok. Well it was more than ok. Great is a better description. Being our first time and all it was a little confusing as to what we needed to order, we thought the place served sandwiches and gelato. However when we saw dollops... More

Everyone knows the south of Italy just does food better. And honestly the brioche stuffed with gelato at Bar Nettuno was one of my favorite desserts I have had in Italy! How can you beat eating an Italian ice-cream sandwich on the shore of Salerno? It's hard!

There is no need to recommend this place anymore as it is well know in all the Campania region. Be prepared to queue and the queue can be quite long! Ice creams are all made in house and they are delicious. Try ice cream in a brioche. It can replace the lunch! Very good quality and made with good ingredients.... More
