MUST USE SERVICES! The young man and older gentleman behind the bar exceeded our expectations! We were the only two couples there in the morning & were treated so kindly ☺️
We told them we were only there for an hour & they treated us to towels & offered a Lemoncello shot (on the house). This is the sort of hospitality you get from a family run, honest business. We would Definitely come back even if the price is a bit steep…it’s views and proximity to the bus stop (100 feet away) is worth every euro!
We love amalfi and ti adoro ❤️ Silver Moon

Silver Moon Restaurant in Amalfi is a very nice place to have a lunch, dinner or just a coffee break. The staff is really nice and their food is amazing. We had a very tasty bruschetta and a pizza, and the waiter helped us to choose wine. Overall great experience, it’s only few steps from Amalfi Port and the views from thx restaurant are breathtaking.

Such a lovely chill afternoon on the beach here. Lovely service and staff. When they found out it was my birthday, they brought out a free bottle of wine. Very much appreciated. Chairs, towels and umbrella in good condition and good value for money.

This a reply to what the management from that awful place has written.
How sad, clearly you dont know what customer service is and on top of that you are adjusting the story to fit your narrative.
You literally attacked us while we were at your bar and you didn’t stop even as we were leaving. My first interaction with the waitress started when she approached my friends and said ‘Can you explain to me what it is you think you are doing’...I had to think twice before replying because I wasnt sure she was talking to us. Yes my friends did use your changing room at the bar next to beach and yes myself being pregnant had my swollen feet up....but that is not a good reason to talk to us that way.
I was a customer at your bar and you are simply lying because you colleague told me that the bar was still open and that I could take a seat. And I waited for a waiter to attend me til you started asking your other colleagues in Italian, little did you know I could speak the language, if I had ordered. When I heard that I came closer and asked one of the waiters if I could get a bottle of cold sparkling water.
So anyways, now that my other friends are told they cant stay they made their way out, leaving me pregnant woman (because I am a customer and had yet to finish my drink).
And to top it all off, after my friends were called names and insulted, this waiter came back to me and basically started yelling and insulting me too and told me I couldn’t stay there anymore.
I respectfully asked for the bill and I was told ‘no, just leave’. That they didn't need my money. I calmly tried to explain myself however I was just met with hateful and racist words.
We definitely were not welcome at Silver Moon because the color of our skin.
Because if the only problem was that we used the changing room and I put my feet up(and let me remind you it is not inside the restaurant, this is an outdoor bar next to the beach) then we could have been told in a different manner.
I have worked in customer service and never have I treated a customer like that.
You could have simply asked me to please not put her feet up and you could have informed my friends that in order to use the changing room I also had to be a customer....as simple as that.
I genuinely hope you learn something from this, and reflect on your behaviour.
Because if you really think that you handled the situation well, then you are a very arrogant and incompetent person on top of being a racist.

We came to stay at the beach and had lunch at the restaurant. The staff in both the beach club and the restaurant were excellent, everyone went out of their way to help us and the food at the restaurant was fantastic.
Everything we ate was locally sourced, fresh and well prepared.
We went back twice!

On the 28th of June my two friends and I made our way to the beautiful Amalfi coast after enjoying a delightful tour in the city and a delicious lunch at Antica Trattoria Barracca, we headed to the beach. Since one of our friend was pregnant went to the nearby Beach restaurants to have a drink on the shade. While we stayed on the beach. Our friend was served from one of the waiters and she hadnt been told that they were closed, otherwise they wouldn’t have served her. Later on we arrived at the restaurant, quickly changed and left our belongings with our friend. On our way to the beach a very unpleasant worker started to shout and started asking us why we were there and we should immediately leave. I was speechless and really couldn’t respond, my friend answered her calmly that we are anyways leaving. This unpleasant and rude woman not only started calling us names and talk to us in unprofessional behavior but also kicked out our pregnant friend from the restaurant after we left.
While our stay in Italy, we experienced a generous and pleasant hospitality everywhere we went except for this restaurant’s poor customer service and inappropriate manners. Iam personally reporting this restaurant because I have never experienced anything like this before and not only they have inadequate manners but they also cannot take any criticism.They responded to our review as a “fabricated review “. Such Character is a disgrace to a place like this, it ruins tourism and mostly made our trip awfully unforgettable.

We rented two chairs and an umbrella for a beach day ($20 for the day). We ordered a couple rounds of drinks and really enjoyed our day! The staff were nice and attentive. We brought our own towels which worked out because we weren’t offered towels. Overall, chill spot.

Silver Moon was an ideal find for lunch. The appetizers and main entrees were tasty, delicious with lovely presentation. A nice scenic little gem of a place to eat right on the coast! Enjoy, Cheers

It was clear from the beginning that my friends and I were not welcome in this ‘restaurant’. The waitress that works there verbally attacked us for no obvious reason.
She spoke to us in a very rude and unwarranted way. She had a very despicable attitude towards us and apparently our only fault was that we didn’t ask her for permission to sit in the restaurant, although one of her colleagues had already served us drinks.
Racism at its finest. She ruined our experience in the Amalfi coast which had been great until that moment.

This review is not only a complete fabrication of events but also libelous and we are seeking legal counsel on how to proceed.
Firstly, a pregnant lady came to the restaurant not through the main entrance but via the beach whilst we were closing and our last guests were leaving. As it is both a private beach and restaurant I greeted her and asked if I could help her. She ignored me and proceeded to walk away. I assumed she left the premises as she saw we were cleaning and locking up. I was therefore not only shocked to find her still on the premises later on, but sat at one of our restaurant chairs with her feet up on the railings. I asked my employee to see if she needed anything and she turned, speaking in Italian saying she just wanted water. Not only did I (not my employee) bring her a bottle of water, I did not charge her nor accept any money. After this, her friends (also not customers of our beach or restaurant) also came into our private premises and used our changing rooms and bathroom without permission. When I asked them what they were doing and that this was a private place they responded they weren't planning on staying and were going to the free beach. Her friends left and went to the sea leaving their belongings in my restaurant. I once, again asked the lady what she was doing and she proceeded with raising her voice and saying she wasn't a customer. Doubly so I asked her and her friends to leave as not only were they our guests but we were closed. I'm not sure if this fabricated review was written by the pregnant lady or one of her rude friends but you all should be ashamed of yourselves: going into someone's establishments without acknowledging the employees, trying to steal a service (as you used all the facilities reserved for our guests), treated the place as if it was your home (putting your bare feet on our railings and moving our chairs around) and then being aggressive when challenged. We didn't even charge you for the bottle of water as it wasn't about money but principles...something clearly lacking here! I won't even stoop to your level using racism as a way of justifying your behaviour. We are blessed with guests from all around the world for several decades and never once have we had such an outrageous claim made! Shame on you on all counts.

We have visited three years ago and we were not disappointed on our return.
Friendly welcome and sat at a lovely table overlooking the beach - heaven. We both had pizza and a side salad to share plus a glass of wine each. Food was delicious and the staff are very polite and friendly. Lovely relaxing place to have lunch - highly recommend and will definitely return.

Fantastic beach club, really friendly staff, lovely food, we had 3rd row back for 40 euros for 2 loungers with a direct close access to the sea, a perfectly relaxing day
