After spending 12 hours in transit to get to Amalfi, and arriving at 9pm, we walked to the first open place we could find. It was a magical experience from start to finish. The owner made us feel welcome and at home immediately, despite our lack of Italian language and late arrival! The food was authentic, fresh pasta and delicious.... More

We ate there twice while on holiday as it was close to our hotel and saved us the treacherous walk into town in the dark! Simple food and nice elderly owner who makes you feel welcome. Be prepared for a long wait if it's busy.

This restaurant was a very good surprise, because Amalfi is a town to be avoided, because no beach, just a sea view, and to reach very dangerous route and "criminal" drivers. Food very good, typical Italian, but deserve a compliment. The Manager is one of the most calm guy I ever saw. The GM? Italian man who let you feel... More

Nicola, the owner, and his family made us feel at home with his hospitality and with his delicious home cooked authentic Italian meals. If your visiting Amalfi this is must! Add this to your list! Perfect ambience with quiet Italian music softly playing in the background. Grazie e Buon Appetito

Came in here to get a casual meal as the Hotel Miramalfi was a bit too posh for a quick bite to eat - what an amazing find. The most friendly guy who owned it delivered us some stunning tasting food - although the profiteroles were definitely better than the lemon dessert. Everything here was done in a comforting relaxed... More

This is on the way into amalfi. 10 mins away. It is built into the cliff face and a lovely little restaurant. Food was great. I had mixed grilled fish and my wife had one of a few the friendly owner recommended, ravioli stuffed with spinach. We had a salad to start and profiteroles and lemon cake to finish. Along... More

This is a terrific place. Near Hotel Miramalfi. The owner greets you, takes your order, tends the bar, entertains you while you eat and even helped in the kitchen! A homey, family run place where you feel like you are in an Italian home. The ravioli was excellent as was the homemade lemonchello.

We were met by the owner as we walked towards his restaurant in the street and greeted with a warm smile and a hearty buonasera. We then sat down at our table inside and we were treated like locals. Lucky we had another dining couple who spoke fluent Italian as our little Italian language was being stretched as he spoke... More

Everything anyone could possibly want; the owner, Nicola, is a sincere and truly wonderful host. He made our stay! We had dinner 4 times and each was better than the last. He reminds me of my uncles with his need to be sure everyone is pleased and happy, and the food, bellissimo! I loved how he called me Lorenzo every... More

Typical robust family owned Italian restaurant. I had homemade pasta with an exquisite lemon sauce - the exact balance of olive oil, lemon and salt. Nice and welcoming atmosphere also for a solo traveller.
