The food was lovely, the staff was kind and attentive, we enjoyed it so much that we ate there twice during our one week stay. Definitely the best meal we had in Amalfi! And a very reasonable price to boot! We ate there with our three children - we had a 6:30 and 7pm reservation - both times we had... More

Super friendly owner and wait staff, very rustic and authentic looking decor, resulting in a very relaxed, comfortable and homely feel. Excellent ambiance! To my knowledge, the food is authentic, and quite tasty, and the local wine is quite earthy and delicious! The menu is quite varied too, so something for everyone. Overall not quite a five-point experience as it... More

We drove up to this restaurant, got parking, went early as we had our son with us. Amazing restaurant, service is fantastic and the food is just wonderful. Flavours are brilliant, the steak we had was huge and perfectly cooked. The house red wine was great also. Just when we thought it could not get any better, the lovely waitress... More

Our waitress was the sweetest girl. Our food was delicious and we were shocked at how reasonable the prices were for the quality of food. Great variety of music and were greeted by the owner as well. A must visit when in Amalfi.

Visited the restaurant after reading the favorable tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed at all. The waitress that welcomed and served us was very pleasant and spoke English very well, contrary to most places around. We ordered an appetizer with eggplants, tomato sauce, parmesana and mozzarella that was great (like grandmother's homemade food!). For main dishes we got the gnocchi... More

It was a wonderful night at the Taverna dei Briganti. First the meat was grilled on the perfect time and the service is really friendly and nice. We had Carne Mista dalla Bracie and red wine. Nothing was bad and the best of eating good food is to look at the ocean of the amalfi coast. See you next year... More

We found this restaurant after reading trip advisor reviews....initially we were the only people there so there was no real atmosphere !!! We ordered steak and a mixed grill...one of us wanted steak medium, the other medium rare & then the mixed grill as medium.....all arrived very well done with little refinement...overall rather poor for the price !!! Wouldn't recommend

Dear Visitor from the UK, Indeed, you were probably the only people here because you came very early. As you probably know, in southern Italy, folks tend to eat late, especially in summer. So, if anyone wants to come for the atmosphere (read many other people in the room) come on the later side. As you were probably told, the... More

Firstly this is not in Amalfi proper, it is up the hill in Pogerola, but there is a bus from the main transport square in Amalfi that is only 1,20euro and there is a stop at the top of the stairs down to the restaurant. And if you don't get that in time it is just down the hill from... More

We went here twice during our stay and the TripAdvisor discount makes it a worthwhile visit especially if youee ststibg near Pegorola. Great pasta and a BBQ style meat grill. Was very quiet both times however so atmosphere slightly lacking. Made up for by a free glass of prosecco and lemon cake on our second visit :)
