2 weeks into an Italian trip and here we are eating good pizza and pasta with not bad negromara, although probably a bit heat cooked (but so am I) and the service continues to be well, yes, Italian, crapola by benchmark standards. Sure the Italians dig it, the rest of us have to suck it up. Bonaaaaaa Sierra.

Found by accident on the way to L'Abita. A very different culinary experience, but good food and very pleasant service. In summer it's set in the street as many of the Amalfi restaurants are. Pizza looked good bit we stuck to the main menu.

Randomly found this restaurant in a small alleyway. The service was fantastic, and food really really good. I'd say the best pasta I had while in Italy this time. (the first one in the menu, seafood pasta in tomato sauce).

Unassuming place in an alley off the main path. Ate here multiple times for lunch. Great pizza marinara and all the typical coast food. A nice place out of the bustle.

Went here for lunch today. The family running it are lovely and welcoming. They speak English very well. Pizzas are authentic and really reasonably priced.

The food here was excellent. The only negative thing I have to say is that I didn't particularly like one of the waiters. When we asked how big the pasta portion was (to determine whether two plates were necessary) he kept repeating the word 'average' all the time. May I say the portions are great, one plate is definitely enough.... More

We went there becasuse of the recommendations in this page, at first we didn t think much of the place as it is in the middle of a passage wiithout any view, despite this, we sat. We ordered a pizza (my boyfirend and I, for whom a whole pizza is more than enough) and they DIDN'T LET US !! What... More

Rather hidden away, this restaurant offers welcome shade away from the crowds. Decent prices, nice service and nice pizzas. Nothing exceptional, but so much better than the more obvious larger tourist places near the beach. The cover charge seemed high for such a simple meal.

I first found out about this restaurant in a guide book and I love eating there whenever I visit Amalfi. Their pizzas are very generous and unless you are quite hungry then perhaps sharing a starter and a pizza may be a good option for couples. Their local wine is inexpensive and quite acceptable. I have always found the waiters... More

Service was a bit curt. (If you don't want to be a waiter, don't be a waiter - small hint) Food was average at best. Anyone who gets mushrooms out of a tin needs to have that tin put somewhere that mushrooms don't grow. Wine was rubbish. Atmosphere ruined by some rough, bulldog looking old trout screaming at her 'children'... More
