We visited Amalfi in the low season and very few restaurants were open. This small restaurant was 30 minutes from our B+B in Ravello, though its address was in Amalfi. Worth the drive, though the roads were so narrow and winding that we certainly don't recommend drinking wine with dinner, then driving home. Our pasta dishes were VERY home-made and... More

We ate here 3 times during our 4 night stay. Honestly the best pasta I've ever had in my life. Their English isn't great but the food easily makes up for it. The last night my wife and I had the spaghetti bolangase. It was truly incredible and worth the trip from amalfi.

Very good food for a very fair price! Do ask for the specials if they have cooked some... The fish is great, so is the spaghetti carbonara and the spaghetti vongole ... The restaurant itself looks a bit beaten down, but the food is excellent and the service is great!

Six of us returned to the Trattoria Rispoli for the third time in the last five years. The olly feature that surpasses the view is the fabulous food. The pasta with tomatoes, tiny black olives and capers are worth a return trip. With a cantaloupe and prosuitto appetizer and a pitcher of wine we will be back.

Went for a big group meal before watching Italy vs Germany at the local cocktail bar. Worked out at around 12 euros a head for dinner and drinks. I had the clam (mussels) pasta. Clearly home made, the pasta on its own with a bit of pesto would have been an amazing dish. With the sauce and the mussels it... More

Little trattoria run by a couple of nonnas! Food as awesome. I had spaghetti carbonara and my wife had pasta with clams. Not many clams but very tasty. The white wine was amazing and very alcoholic! Great view sitting outside on the terrace overlooking rolling hills towards Ravello.

This restaurant is in Pogerola, just up the road from the Hotel Grand Excelsior. A 15 minute Sita bus ride from Amalfi will bring you here. Sit out on the terrace for glorious views. Better to ask Marina for her recommendations than to order from the menu. Great cheap red wine. I always love coming here with my friends. Afterwards,... More

The inside dining is very undesirable but the patio dining has great views. The only thing we ate was the bolognese and it was some of the best that I have ever had. The staff speaks zero English and is somewhat indifferent. If you are just looking for some great home cooked pasta then this would be the place to... More

I could even understand non Italian getting excited for "pittoresque" Italian restaurant and food, but .. how is possible rate this place so high. We've been there (family and friends). Smell of bad oil fried everywhere, inside simply, the old ladies driving the places with the young nephew are kind but ... We've ordered scialatielli (home made pasta) with see... More
