We are going back for second time. Booked a table having found the place by chance. Obviously very popular, full up by 20.00. We had a very fine supper of fish and pasta. Excellent menu of interesting and different dishes. Lots of herbs and lemon in various dishes. Anchovies a personal favorite in some of the offerings but enough variety... More

We had a wonderful meal at Il Tari in the heart of AMALFI-They specialize in fish but also have a good choice of meat dishes. Our friends had pasta and it was very good-We asked for the fish of the day and it was wonderful-They actually showed us the fish before it was cooked and fillet it for us-It was great-They... Amazing food! We did the prix fixe menu, and it was a really great value! Service was a bit slow, but they were also super busy so that's understandable. Overall, highly recommend!

When you enter the Amalfi row of shops and restaurants don't stop, proceed about 60 meters and on left find "IL TARI". By far the best food we've had in Italy. We are going back tomorrow to try something else. Well priced but dishes are home made and have much more flavor than most. Tonight chicken cacciatore and vegetable risotto... More

Getting a table was a bit unorganized as all staff are prety much promising away tables to different people and once back on the agreed time find their table gone (best intentions I am sure as they all had to run around to keep the busy restaurant going while being friendly nevertheless). I had a veg risotto which was nice... More

We read how they had gluten free pizza. We went there because my wife has celiac. Let me first start by saying the waiter who took our order never came back until it was time to give us the check. There were two other wait staff stopping by to assist us. We ordered the gluten free pizza. I swear it... More

Had a small lunch early in the week and the ambience brought us back for dinner. Pasta is fantastic. Had the linguini with anchovies, olives, capers, and tomatoes. 11 Euro. To die for. Extra large portions that could easily be shared.

We walked up and down Amalfi' main street and after looking at Il Tari's vast Menu, decided to eat here. Are we ever happy we made this choice. The service was great from the beginning and then came the food. I started with the cheese in a lemon leaf, the server was kind enough to show me not to eat... More
