We ate here on our first day in Amalfi. It was a super hot day and we were sweaty and exhausted by the time we got there, but the hike was worth every step. The food here was absolutely delicious. I had the risotto, and...More

We visited here for lunch on a recommendation. What an amazing find! Fresh, home grown and home cooked organic food. Easily the most flavoursome enjoyable lunch we've had during our 3 weeks in Italy - can't rate it highly enough! We had the lemon risotto,...More

We walked 3 km uphill in the midday heat just to visit this amazing place. It was worth every step for so many reasons. And getting away from the crowds in the village of Amalfi was relaxing and rejuvenating. The owners are so gracious and...More

A tavern-type place with outdoor patio with a simple seating area (metal mesh tables & chairs - nothing fancy) that makes a good place to refresh after a little 45 min - 1 hour hike from Amalfi centre. We stopped here just for drinks. We...More

Every time I travel to Amalfi, I visit this lovely spot along the way to Valle Delle Ferriere - well worth a visit on its own! Excellent food, better even a home-brewed wine. It is a very inexpensive and friendly family-run eatery that you won't...More

Other reviewers have said it best -- simple food and it's finest! During our stay in Amalfi we struck up a conversation with a local who recommended Fore Porta as one of the best places to eat in Amalfi. He explained the farm to table...More

Hi, We had folks in our group that were over 65 but hike frequently. I think it is doable for almost anyone as it is not steep. If you are able to walk, you can make it.
