Rich and good aperitif but slow service made by too young guys and ,perhaps, without a guideline. Perhaps a more trining person would have improved the service. Unpleasant and pedantic owner.
Total ammount higher than expected
Found this little place down some steps and plotted up for a few glasses of wine on the comfy outdoor sofa for a very chilled and relaxing evening! Food looked pretty good but didn’t manage to try any
Service was good and not too busy...until about 11pm when we were asked to move from the area we were sat to accommodate a large group of people so we finished our drinks and left after thatMore
Wandering around tonight, after being disappointed several times in Matera....thought I might find a gem, and I did. The only reason I spotted the place was because I peered through a window, and saw people sitting down. Just looking for something light.
Great single glass...selection of wine, and I chose Primitivo local.
I am a retired chef, so my palate is fairly particular I might add.
Place has great music and accoustics. Loved the art.More
Excellent snack bar.It has very good position on the promenade, kind a little hidden from the passers looks The food is really very good and delicious. Not just mozzarella and prosciutto but also warm pies. It can be good replacement for lunch or dinner. Maybe...you will wait a little longer than you are used to, but it is worth.. Good, calm atmosphere , nice place in lovely Matera.More
Centrally located, just facing the Purgatorio Church in via Ridola, this bar offers you not only nicely prepared aperitifs but also the opportunity of having a light meal with little extra cost. For seven euros you will get a nice Aperol Spritz, Italian most fashionable...cocktail presently, and a generous selection of local nibbles, including ham and mozzarella.
Not many tables, best are by the bar entrance.More
