Enjoyed a delicious typical “Valencian” Paella. The true traditional style with chicken, rabbit and snails. Naturally there would be no where better to eat a great paella than in Valencia, the home of paellas. The fried “boquerones” were also a treat! Will be returning for another paella next time we are back in Valencia. Thanks Jose for the great personal... More

This is the best paella I have had so far. And the appetizers were also very nice, we had different plates to share with ham, octopus, mushrooms and different vegetables.

I was there for business, invited, and I agree with the choice of our partners, to get the paella there. It looks like also during the week you must do a reservation, it was quite full on Tuesday, and anyway for paella. Good choice of wine good starters, nice ambient and good service, so it is simply to try! Because... More

I was introduced by local contcact of mine for a paella lunch at Roberto's. It was a nice experience, it's a typical local restaurant where it deals more about flavours than scenerie. We had some Iberico ham as an appetizer and a big pan of paella as main. Together with a lemon beer it's a great combination. I would reccomend... More

had to try paella in valencia and when looking for recommendation online, casa roberto was the #1 choice for many. had lunch and ordered their paella valenciana - although its a pricey - the taste was very good. there were 3 of us and it was just the perfect portion. did not order any appetizer as we wanted to have... I will start saying that the Paella was nice. But this is a classic tourist trap back up with lots of good reviews, with not really reason for that... it's an un-design place without any kind of specialty. For the waitress your just another one who came to eat their Paella, that must be fed and move on for the... More

You MUST make a reservation because forget any paella you have ever had in the past, this is not any of those, at least the ones that I have had in the US - the reason you MUST make a reservation is because your paella needs time to slow cook, even when you arrive it will take another 30 minutes... I really enjoyed Casa Roberto during my visit to Valencia. The hotel was recommended by concierge of the Westin Hotel and it was a great experience. The food was delicious. I would say it was the best restaurant I had been in Spain. Paella was delicious and really the best. Not cheap but definitely worth it. Strongly recommend

Valencia is the birth place of the famous paella and this is the best place to have in Valencia. Tried both seafood and chicken+rabbit and both were lip smacking delicious. Make the effort to find this place and you won't be disappointed. The meats are neatly cooked and juicy, beans and vegetables were tender and rice aptly cooked. Only tip,... More

I've had a few paellas in my time, but this was easily the best... their grilled calamari was divine, great texture, colour and flavour... and the paella was perfect, just enough salt, slightly crispy base, just as I ordered, and not cheap on the shrimp or fish.... fantastic!
