Shouldn't surprise folks that thoughtfully sourced and carefully presented meals come at a slight premium even if they are still tapas. Ate here twice once with a with child and was very impressed with service and selection at all levels. Despite my limited Spanish, I got a lot of help making sure my two visits were complimentary rather redundant. Tell... More

Having read a review in The Telegraph about good places to eat in Valencia, we decided to pop in before heading to the airport. Oh my goodness the tapas are excellent! Set in the original building from 1836, fresh, seasonal produce come together to make traditional Spanish tapas that will live on in my memory... We ordered the fresh tomato... More

Good authentic food, very popular. Not the nicest seating - but the fresh dishes make up for it. They did not have everything what was on the menu, but this shows that they buy fresh stuff.

We ate in the front area, which is a little cramped,so be prepared to share on high tables. The food and the wine were all amazing. The service was generally prompt and friendly, although the very busy environment may have had a bearing on one sour faced waitress.Cheer up love. Fantastic experience, booking advised.M.

This place was right by our rented apartment and was always full of local voices anytime we walked by. Twice we tried to give it a go, but booking seems to be necessary! We ate in the bar area second time out. We had a great selection of meat/fish and veg tapas plus 4 drinks for €50. Service was first... More

Ah how I miss the old good days when tapas were cheap and affordable. We spent 33 Euro but ended up stomach-emptied... We ordered patatas bravas (6pieces), 3 anchovies, 3 pieces of tuna (very good), few mussels, a glass of wine, 2 croquettes. That's all. I understand the food comes from 'special suppliers' but I really believe the prices are... More

Visited the Casa on a lunchtime. What a great place. Loved the surroundings. Armed with Google maps it's not too hard to find. We took the no 32 bus from Valencia City Centre and walked the short distance to the Casa from the nearest stop. Service was great with the waiter recommending a number of dishes. From the dishes we... More

We went for lunch with friends who had been before- they had raved about the food and the authentic nature of this quite tiny restaurant. We had booked and this was a wise move - the Tapas are freshly prepared in the tiny kitchen and were delicious- the wines are not expensive but excellent quality and the friendly owner and... More

We were told we had to have tapas here and we are so glad that we went. The staff were lovely. I broke a glass and it was not a problem. The food was exceptional. Guernica green peppers, chorizo in cider which fell apart, morcilla on toast and a fabulous truffle to end, were only some of the wonderful dishes... More

A real gem, away from the hustle and bustle of the old town of Valencia. We wer surrounded by the locals who clearly love the place. We had a little wait as we hadn't booked, but we were more than rewarded for this. The food was exquisite, with each plate never failing to impress. The wine was chosen for us... More
