I've been staying in Valencia for a few months now and there's no bar better than this. The offer is incredible, from cakes to empanadas to croissants. They've definitely got the best bakery and good options for everyone. It's good price for the portions you...are getting and you can also get food from them in the evening with Too good to go. The environment is very nice, with nice tables and decoration. And the staff is very kind and well trained. Will definitely return, whether it's alone or with some company.More
I visited the place with my son. We both had fresh juice because we had a lovely bike ride tour of the city. The juice was so nice and yummy but quite small. There were many sweets and pastry choices but I try to stay...away from sugar. Maybe next time.
Definitely worth visiting.More
We had just one cake each and we do not regret visiting this place. The cakes were really tasty (although a bit sweeter for my taste, but that's just very personal). I think you will enjoy having a dessert at this place 🤩
Excellent coffee shop in old town area of Valencia. Wide selection of coffee's, plus many options for breakfast with filled bagel, eggs benedict, filled croissants .. too many things to mention plus the pastries are great too! Lovely service and a great experience. 4 breakfasts...23 euro bargain !!More
We've just visited this coffee patisserie shop at "calle Jesus". My husband is recovering from a difficult surgery so we decided to go for a short walk. As he got tired we decided to get into the shop. My husband sat down on a table...whilst I joined the queue to place my order. After quite a few minutes of waiting I noticed that my husband was asked to leave the table being told that the shop's policy is that you have to place the order before even knowing that you would have a place to sit down. He was not given a chance to explain his situation. I dont think the firm cares about people with physical disabilities. They should know well that not all disabilities are visible and that those who suffer from them may not want to explain to complete strangers. It is clear to me that the firm main purpose is to make money disregarding personal customer care. Very disappointing!!More
We went to this place a few times and were happy with both of our visits. I really liked the carrot cake I had, and my friend enjoyed her quiche. The portions are big enough to fully enjoy your meal.
There is a great brunch/lunch...deal that starts at 1pm: you get a dish of the day, 1/2 of a sandwich, soft drink of your choice, and a dessert or coffee. Totals to EUR.
There is no English menu, but the staff spoke English and managed to explain the options really well.More
It doesn’t matter what you order, it has too much sugar: cakes, horchata, drinks etc
Take away cakes from the stand are frozen and don’t melt very well, also very expensive. Again too much sugar in everything, can feel how my teeth aches every time...I’m here.
Service is poor and even rude, maybe the staff don’t care that much about it as they are probably just part timers.More
Tried to get a table, place was super busy and not great for a relaxing breakfast on a Sunday. Cake tasted good hence the two starts but overall experience was diré. Would not repeat. Much nicer places around
Some of the reviews say you must get a table, which we did. Then I joined the lengthening queue only to find out later that people were taking tickets then they call your number to take your order, then you wait at the table with...a new number.
My other stress is that on my 2nd day in Spain, I didn't know the numbers well enough to hear they passed me but eventually I got served.
The pastries and cakes look amazing but there isn't a menu, so you do really need to know what to order by the time they speak to you.
I got served at 10:50 on my receipt. It's now 11:15 so I'm writing this review not knowing what my 2 coffees, juice, pastires and pies will taste like but it has just arrived for a photograph and looks lovely!! One more star for that.More
We were surprised by the long queue outside but once we entered we saw the endless piles of pastries, bagels and most of all, cakes! Unbelievably decorated, tasty and not expensive at all. Because of the rush hour we had to wait for our brunch...(coffee, juice, yogurt, mini croissants and sandwich for 8e) a bit longer than expected, so the lovely waitress brought us a pastry as an apology. And the queue moved quickly so the waiting didn't even seem that long. Just make sure to get a table first, you can't order (except take-away) if you don't have a table. Best brunch I've had in Spain!More
